I have NEVER seen it this cheap, EVER!

Go to SkyAuction.com and type in "blowout" in the search area.

You MUST book by Nov 30th, 2010 but you can travel up through Nov. 30th, 2011. So, if you know your dates for travel now, pick up a few!

I just got 3. We got our APs Monday so we are set for a good year of travel!

I've never seen them that cheap either, but when I put my August, 2011 dates in nothing good comes up. I don't want to chance it.

I'm glad you were able to take advantage of the deal :thumbsup2.

If they do not have your dates, do not chance it by getting them with the hope you will eventually see your dates pop up.. $149 is a great price, but only if you can use them. If you end up not being able to, you will not get a refund and then the $149 was not a good deal...

Never used skyauction. So that means $149 for a week at one of their hotels? It doesn't look like Thanksgiving week is included...if I'm looking at it right.

hey if it works for you go for it.

trying to buy a house in florida - so can't buy any extra right now.

or believe me would be buying it - lots of dates in dec are there.

SkyAuction is rarely going to work for you if you travel during PRIME weeks. It is for leftover units they cannot get filled otherwise.

So, August and Thanksgiving will most likely NOT work out.

We travel off-season as we don't even like dealing with crowds, so it works perfectly for us.

I haven't booked yet, but we typically travel October, January, and May for Disney.

We just got back tonight from a SkyAuction.com stay! We paid about $225 for this one though and bought it last year.

Are you MOVING to FL or will this be a 2nd home?

I am on the site.
Where do you see BlowOut?
Thank you VERY much!

We used to use SkyAuction, but now that our kids are older we can't pull them out of school like we used to. Oh the good ole days.

Yeah, I understand.

We homeschool right now, so we don't even TRY to vacation in the summer! We actually school year round so that we can take vacations and breaks when desired.

They just posted 64 more available. I did check Jan and Feb dates and the inventory is VERY LOW for those months, which surprised me.....but many of the other months are wide open.

Dawn

Does anyone know when new inventory is added ? I mean ...is it every day or just once a week or maybe someone has spotted a regularity about this ? like mid night on Sunday... or whatever ???

I check the site a few times every day for the last week and it seems to me that nothing new has been added at all ! I checked various locations and also various dates but there is not much change over the last week.... except I have seen some availabilty has disappeared... these are obviously booked by people that has recently bought the certificate.. (I guess....)

Since this blow-out sale certificate requires to be booked by end NOV2010.. will they add new inventory before this date ? Just thinking that they might not because they want to get rid of the existing available weeks.....

I have not bought the certificate yet as there is no availability for my dates so I just want to keep checking to see if something opens up for my dates....however.. no luck sofar...

That is a good question. I know once they had a super low inventory and they were having computer issues.

You could call and ask if they add them and how often??????

I know yesterday I checked for January and I was shocked by nothing available! I need to pin DH down on some dates to book.

There was a time about a year ago that I waited until the last possible date to book and there just happened to be new listings posted that day, but that is no guarantee I realize!

I personally have never had a problem getting off-season condos for the dates I wanted YET! But there may be a first time.

Thankfully we are fairly flexible and this type of deal is best for those who are more flexible with dates. I am concerned about NOTHING in Jan-Feb though and wonder if snow birds bought up several weeks and booked for the entire two months!~

I had already contacted them and was advised that inventory is added on daily basis but sofar I haven't seen any changes in the past week when I did the searches. That's why I was wondering how often inventory is added in reality !

As for Jan & Feb ....I did read somewhere that these 2 months are sort of high season for Orlando and timeshare in general because of the snowbirds. That's probably why there is not much availability for these 2 months.

Anyway.. will keep checking to see if anything opens up for my dates... not much chance I guess..... that's why I haven't bought the certificate yet.
