I just saw an auction for 7 nights at the sheraton vistana LBV in a 2 bedroom close for $226 plus $195 tax and service charge. Is that for real or is there more fine print Im not aware of. That would be tough to turn down for what amounts to $60.00 per night. Also would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has used skyauction or stayed at this property. Thanks

love both!!!

yes skyauction is for real (parent company owns both RCI and skyauction)'

these rentals come from RCI

they are real.

you also need to add $15 the fee skyauction charges, the $195 is the exchange fee what RCI charges.

Yes is it for real and we have it for two weeks in august through skay auction. I have never stayed at Vistana but many have on these boards so if you do a search function you will find much information. I know lots of people use Skyauction. I think that when a resort is a little slow they put their excess inventory into this site. I know others have analyized it but in terms of timeshares etc but that is beyond me. All I know is bottom line it is for real and it works. That is a great price we paid I think 250 per week not inc/the 195. What month is your reservation for?

This wasnt an auction I bid on just watch and it closed today. We are going from 9/18-9/28. We will be at BWV from 9/18-9/23 and are trying to decide where to stay the second half. DW wants to stay on-site but at that price we could stay the 2 extra days that you get with a 7 night reservation. It will be hard going from on-site to an off-site(would be easier the other way around but we cant get BWV for the second half). Is it required that you do a sales presentation as part of the deal. Thanks

no!!!

and most of the time you won't even get the call.

I haven't with skyauction - done it 3 times.

I've never purchased a trip by auction. Is Skyauction the best or are there other sites out there that are better? Any drawbacks? We can do things last minute so I thought this may be the way to go. Just want to make sure it's safe.

last minute trips using Skyauction is a good thing to do.

after you have registered (do this first - it take time) - then wait until the last 5 minutes to place a bid - that will generally kept others from bidding against you.

yes there are several people who don't place a bid until others do.....

anyway good luck!!!

You will love skyauction once you try it.

The dates I need in August are gone, does anyone know if more dates ever come available? ::MickeyMo

that is hard to predict.

RCI exchanges comes from timeshares owner who don't want to use their week that year.

Skyauction gets most of the their timeshares from RCI.

Disney this year - is having a ton of new stuff - if alot of owners want to go to these new things - then RCI won't get the exchanges.

However my best deals with skyauction have been at 2 weeks or less.

It is hard to predict.

I would say that skyauction will get more for August - but that is just a guess.
