Sky Auction Check Out

While I am sure check out varies from resort to resort - I have read that some have been able to leave early from a 7 night stay.

I would love to try skyacution this trip. We are arriving late on a Thursday (April 28) and can stay at an airport hotel that night and allow a Friday, April 29 check in. However, we need to fly home May 5 (Thursday).

Will it be a problem leaving a day early at say Silver Lake or Vacation Village?

it is never a problem leaving early.

if you win the trip - let a week to 10 days for RCI (skyauction) to contract the resort. then call the resort - some resorts are very nice and will actually let you check in (if there is room) early. tell them you really want a Thursday night check in and see what they say. Some can't they only have check in on Fri/Sat/Sun - so they don't have the front desk staff except for those days. When you check out it is different most places these days go for express check out.

Well, I didnt win the original one i bid on, but I did win today - Vacation Village for $6 ($216 after fees) - so I am very excited. We will use my Choice Rewards points for the first night at a Comfort/Sleep Inn and then move into Vacation Village for 6 nights. Less than $31/night for 7 nights in Orlando aint bad at all!

Guess we really are going in April this year rather than August!
