Has anybody visited here? I am a huge haunted house freak...lol, I actually run one here locally, and would love to see how a year round haunt looks, but do not know if it is actually worth missing a day of wdw for. Let me know!

It's stooooooooopiiiiiiiddddd.... :)

You will not need a full day (or even a half day) for Skull Kingdom. You can easily do the tour in half and hour. If you have ever been to Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights you have some idea what's in store at Skull Kingdom (minus the chainsaw-wielding maniacs).

Perhaps make it a mid-day break from your theme park touring. Or end your day with a trip to Skull Kingdom and take in the Chamber of Magic dinner show afterwards.

well thank you for the replies...the reason I say it would be a day away from the parks is because I am staying at CBR therefore have no transportation, so if I rent a car I would be gone all day to get the monies worth out of a days rental price.
P.S. I have never been to U.S. horror nights either. Like I said before I run my own haunted house and my own house needs tending too...lol

Have you considered taking the LYNX (bus system) from Disney property to I-Drive? There are a number of great venues near Skull Kingdom, such as the amazing SkyVenture (skydiving...inside a building! It's fantastic fun!!), Ripleys Believe It Or Not, Wonderworks, mini-golf, lots of great restaurants, and plenty of shopping. Even an afternoon of Skull Kingdom and SkyVenture would be worth the trip over.

Try http://www.golynx.com for more info on pick up and drop off points.

I have never thought of that, thanks for the suggestion & link. skydiving inside???? that is something I need to try!!!!

Well, as the others have said, it's really nothing too exceptional, there are a few good scares, and most of them aren't the typical "BOO!" scare either. It only takes 25-30 minutes, unless there's a line...

And yes on I-drive there's a lot to do! Ripley's is one of my favorite places to go and people watch. There's also Wet N Wild one of the oldest, largest waterparks in Florida. if you go, go on the bus, or take a taxi... don't bother renting a car, very expensive for a one day venture.

Now with that being said, what kind of haunt do you run? I work at Busch Gardens every year as part of their Creature Crew. I usually end up with a speaking part, and have acted as their embassador before. Oh and just so you know, there's another haunted venue, year round in Old Town. It's ok... you'll enjoy it.
