I heard something on the Today show that they were going to be there on June 27th for this and I was wondering could that be the opening of the ride? They are also doing a contest here is the link

I think media preview days are around June 22-24?? maybe, so it sounds like from what I read, it could be open at the end of June, but who knows! I am hoping for soft openings next week after mem day but not holding my breath!

I'm hoping for the same thing we go in October and I am anxious to here how it is

From what I read about Wizarding World, they did the media preview around the same time (late June), and then opened a couple weeks later (mid July).

We are hoping it will be open July 4th weekend, but I suspect it will be a week or 2 later.

Any new updates on the projected opening date? Going mid August and really looking forward to this ride! I really miss the old King Kong ride and was very happy when Universal announced Skull Island.

The ride is cycling and there do seem to be people riding it but they aren't in softs yet.

How physically thrilling is this ride going to be? Obviously Kong jumping out at me is gonna scare the pants off me, but I really don't like huge physical scares either.

Sounds like TM softs are today and tomorrow. That means real softs might start Monday.

Lol, same here. We'll be going to Universal around that time as well. As far along as it appeared to be I thought it might be open for our trip, guess we'll see.
