Update:
Every second, you are subconciously comparing the play and film in your head. Still, thumbs up.

I haven't seen Beauty and the Beast (though I really want to!), but I did see The Lion King and you are right about constantly comparing the movie and the show. It's kinda weird how, at least with The Lion King, they take exact lines from the movie. The actors' voices also sounded a lot like the voices from the movie. The Lion King was an AMAZING show, by the way.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, after our school did it as the musical i've always wanted to go see it.....over course the movie was better, the orignal is always best. Theres alot of new songs in the broadway version opposed to the movie, as in "Human Again" or "Home"... "Gaston" and "Be Our Guest" were by far my favorite to be in---> being in the backround was so much fun! lol

I'm glad you had fun! i so wanna see it, i have like a dream list of everything i want to see on broadway, all i've seen is Wicked in Chicago _ some smaller shakespearan play for school and stuff. But i LOVE theatre!

EDIT- sorry for repeating myself i totally forgot i posted on this thread already saying i was in it! i knew it sounded familiar...haha its late and im a bit out of it!
