HOw as Skipper Canteen been lately? We are thinking of trying it for an early lunch. We have dinner at le CELLIER later that same day and I just don’t want to be too stuffed from lunch. Are entrees a shareable size? Or, has anyone just shared a bunch of appetizers between a few people? What are your thoughts??

DH and I shared apps in Nov. He LOVES sweet and sour soup, so that was his alone. We shared the noodle salad (just okay), the falafal (decent), and I gave him one bite of the cachapas!! They were by far one of the best apps I've ever had. But don't leave without getting the kungaloosh...oooohh so good. We were pleasantly satisfied, quantity wise.

We went and had dinner there at the end of March. It was our first time there and we enjoyed it quite a bit. We will definitely be back.

Skipper Canteen is our go-to in MK! The apps are quite large, IMHO, so I would definitely consider sharing a few, otherwise a full meal might be too filling if you are eating at Le Cellier later that day.

We ate there for the first time last week. The pork appetizer was amazing! I ate it as a small meal since we had an ADR at BOG for dinner.

I don't really like anything spicy. Will I have a hard time at this restaurant?

We ate there in January and both enjoyed it. The whole fish was our favorite, the soup was also good, but isn't something I normally ever order, so I have nothing to compare it to. I wasn't too thrilled with the cold appetizer dish, but it wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I was really looking for at the time. I very much enjoyed having a glass of bubbly in the park after a long day fighting the NYE/Marathon crowds!

I don't consider any of the food spicy. But then again, I love truly spicy food with flavor and some heat.
This has become our favorite TS restaurant at MK. Going this week, and looking forward to it.
