Here they are waiting to go into the secret room.

Wellster receives his scabbard and sword as well as hears the rules of sword play.

After the talk they enter the secret room to get their pics taken. Wellster gets to pick out a coin for his booty. The CM tells him to go to the chest and get his booty. Wellster takes a big handful. The CM is like, just take one so that other pirates can have some treasure too. Wellster giggles, and they get their pics taken. The pics looked so good but we just didn't have the cash to pay for them. It just wasn't in the budget. But here's mine:

It's getting pretty warm and it was time for a bathroom break. Luckily it didn't take too long and then Sugah Mama spots the ice cream cart. She wants Mickey ear ice cream:

That's how it went, just like the dog from Up!.

Back to the story, Sugah Mama want Mickey Ears and Wellster takes a twisty popsicle thing. Wellster doesn't eat ice cream nor sweets. Sugah Mama adores chocolate. As we're walking realize that ice cream and popsicles are not going to hold them. The boys have already eaten and so they didn't care where the rest of us eat. We settled on Columbia Harbor House. When we get there a CM is dressed as a patriot and asks Sugah Mama will she be alright, there are no sailors to eat there but there's other stuff. He called Wellster Jake and the two of them just giggled. I love how every CM knew what the two of them were. They had something to say about their characters. Wellster and Sugah Mama just basked in the fun. We ordered a chicken nugget kids meal for Sugah Mama and Wellster to share. A lobster roll for mom and Tuna for me; water for drinks. You know 'cause it's hot, not because it's free.

So while we're waiting in line, Sugah Mama drops her ice cream. Dev: "Clean up on aisle 3." Wellster was so kind, he said "here Anna, you can have mine." He's such a softie, we liken him to Ferninand the bull. We send Dev off to find a table while we wait for our order. He says there's a table upstairs. Cool. After we get our food Albert comes over and shows us where the table is. It's not upstairs, it's on the first floor.

It was a little dry so I went to go get mayo. When I came back Sugah Mama had a gift.

A CM brought her a replacement Mickey ears bar. See that's why I love this place.

Total price for meal $26.07. It was good, mom said that the lobster roll was good and she saved some for later to put on her salad.

It's getting hotter and as a vet I know it's time to go home and get a break. We're heading past the castle when the Dream Along with Mickey show is going on. Wellster wants to see it. Albert's like No, I want to go home, NOW!
Wellster says "No." very clearly. Mom turns as said, we're going to watch, it's almost over we have time. Albert storms off and we watch the last 5-10 minutes.

We're on our way out the park when I spot some hula hoops on the ground. Sugah Mama's looking at them longingly but doesn't want to play. She thinks it's a contest. I told her it's not a contest they were there just for fun. and it was on.

Two! you go girl!

The pool is calling our little mermaid and we're ready to go home.

After we get home the kids want to get into the pool. Sugah Mama is trying not to get her face wet and gets mad at the boys for splashing. She's whining when I tell her point blank, you either accept that your face will get wet or you get out of the pool. It was not going to last either way. She gets her act together and gets to playing. I finally get in myself and I'm enjoying the sauna. Wellster is in tube and Sugah Mama is walking along the side the pool and all of a sudden she falls into 5ft Cue the theme music!

Devin leaps over the ledge and grabs Sugah Mama from underwater. Albert leaps in from the other side and wets his clothes and his phone. Sugayh Mama's crying swearing she's never getting in again. She doesn't want me, she's clinging to Dev like a baby monkey hanging onto his mama Wellster's worried but he pets Sugah Mama trying to make her feel better. I take her in the house to calm down and the boys go on playing.

Around 6 we're going back to Magic Kingdom but first we have to hit Walmart for more supplies. It's starting to drizzle but no worries, we already know it rains in spurts down in Orlando. We're grab our stuff, split food at MCDs and we're headed back to MK. I put the address for MK in and we're off. Mom takes a wrong turn and we have to wait for the GPS to reroute us. It adds about 10 minutes and we're at the parking lot. We hop on the ferry and we're back just in time for a bathroom break. the parade's about to start so we got to hurry. This is one of Wellster's must do's. We find a spot near the bathroom right where the parade starts.

A family let's the kids squeeze up next to them and then we hear the bad news. The parade's been delayed because of the weather. two minutes later we see lights. Wellster's face lights up so big and he's excited to see the parade. Dev even gets into the act. I'm not showing you the horrible pics because it's just not worth it. The parade was over rather quickly, I thought it was longer than that. Maybe they cut it a bit short because of the rain. Dev breaks for space mountain, it's the only mountain he didn't do. We take the shortcut through the stores and I get turned around. I wanted to get them to IASW because they were teasing Dev about it all day and they wanted to see what it was all about. We're walking around and the kids are getting tired and mom's getting irritating. Wishes is starting and the kids can see the fireworks behind the castle.

Wellster really can't appreciate it because he's so tired but Sugah Mama is amazed. Her face is lit up brighter than it was at Christmas. We finally get to IASW and there's no line, of course, and we're on super fast. Wellster falls asleep and Sugah Mama is still hanging in there. She loves ISAW. As Wishes ends the line starts filling in Dev calls he wants to know where we are. He's coming to us. Both our phones are dying and the kids are asleep on their feet. After Dev gets turned around, we finally meet by HM and we hoisted the kids on our shoulders and we head out before the final show. It's not crowded as we're leaving and we make it back to the car in pretty good time.

Now mom can't see so great when it's dark so we have to be extra careful. The kids are rocked in the car and we head home. Man it's so dark we're not even sure that the lights are even on. Mom is complaining that she can't find the exit. Why is she not reading the signs, are you telling me she can't drive and read at the same time. The signs are like huge are you kidding me? Finally we get home, the kids are in the bed and I'm looking at my schedule for the next day. It's Animal Kingdom day. We're having lunch at RFC and I'm super excited for them. They're going to love it!

So before bed I download all of their pics from the cameras. Wellster's no problem. Sugah Mama's, problem. The laptop won't recognize the camera and it erases all of her pics !!! OMG! Are you kidding?! Every single one, and I can't get the laptop to even try to recognize it.

I went to bed disgusted. I wanted to try it again in the morning. Hoping against hope that the laptop god would work with me.

Day 3: Animal Kingdom

Our day 3 was our AK day. I wanted the kids to really enjoy themselves. Sugah Mama is a true animal lover and Wellster is not that far behind. Dev was only interested in Everest and Kali River Rapids. The day was beautiful, sun was shining, hot but not too hot; and the only ADR was Rainforest Cafe at 1 pm.

Everyone had cereal at home so there was no rush. I still couldn't get Sugah Mama's camera to work but we just had a pseudo relaxing morning. I got them out the door around noon and we were off to Animal Kingdom.

So we're getting on the tram and that's where I learned my first lesson of the day. Here's the lesson, we're listening to the safety spiel and the CM at the back of the tram gives this little piece of info. Look down at the ground from the row where you parked and you'll see your row number. It's good to know when you're ready you're not wandering around in a sea of cars trying to find your cars in a sea of identical cars. We were in Dinosaur 31. See it works!

After going through bag check we were in! Mom ran off to get Sugah Mama a camera and the kids starting looking around.

These pics were taken by the kids, can you see that they're enamored with the birds. Nevermind they had their own camera they had to use mine.
Mom comes back with a pack of cameras. The disposable kind, a 2 pack cost $28 OMG! I just started to twitch. I'll definitely share Sugah Mama's pics when we finally get them developed.

Everyone's getting grumpy and hungry. I told them we had ADRs at Rainforest Cafe and it was time to eat. The kids were looking at the menu and I told them don't bother, I already knew what we were eating. Dev, of course, was like I never get to order anything. He wanted like this monster burger! Um no.
So we head into RFC and of course it's straight into the gift shop. The kids especially Sugah Mama loved the fish. I checked us in and it was not even 5 minutes before our name was called.

Here comes lesson #2: Never take 3 Aspie children into RFC without letting someone know they have Autism. Expect meltdowns otherwise.

We ordered 2 awesome appetizers and a round of drinks.

The apps were really good and filled us up nicely. The kids got slushies in a mug, I got a strawberry dacquri and mom got a sangria. Everyone loved their mugs, the adult ones lit up so it was an extra fun bonus. Wellster could hardly eat because he kept getting distracted. We almost had to force feed him. He ate 2 chicken tenders and 1 mozzarella stick. Everyone was getting irked. We ordered dessert.Mom and I split a cheesecake:

It was really good except for the whipped cream. I hate whipped cream. I thought it was ice cream at first until I made the mistake of tasting it.
The kids had ice cream sandwiches except for Albert who had pudding.

It was time to head out to AK. The bill came to $154 and some change. Mom's AARP discount knocked it down to $148. Dev still can't get over how much food costs. We're still on budget.

We're heading into AK when Sugah Mama finds something that totally captures her attention. You're thinking bird right? Nope, not this time. Lizard. That's there other fascination. Lizard.

I gently nudge them along because I really wanted them to see Finding Nemo. You see we missed it the last time and I just knew they would like it.

So we're heading to Finding Nemo, me sippin' on my dacquri feelin' pretty good after taking a tylenol. My sinuses were bothering me for a while. You know the commercial where the guy had wads of tissue in his pocket. Well I carried toilet paper. The last few weeks of school and through the parks. So for once I feeling pretty good. We get to Nemo and they were letting people in, rule was that there was no food or drinks. I had some dacquri left and I was straight determined to finish it. Some I'm sucking it down like it was some kind of contest, while everyone is impatiently waiting for me to give up. Only a little to go and then...Dev snatches the cup out my hand and pours the rest of it in the trash. What?! I'm almost done. He's like mom we gotta go in so we can get some good seats.

I am cracking up at your TR. When I read the part about you threatening Dev if he didn't get more food,

I have to say I really have to admire you. I thought for sure it was over when you guys left for your 8:50 ADR at 8:30. I don't know how you did it.

I also appreciate reading a TR with off site accommodations. As my two get bigger, I think we are going to have to go that route too. We don't need a whole lot of space for the three of us, but I'd like to have more room for us to spread out, a microwave and a fridge like when we go other places and I know that will mean going off site.

Looking forward to reading more.

Hey everyone,
Sorry that it's been awhile. I cut my thumb on a mandolin and couldn't type for like 2 weeks. Apparently, I didn't see the importance of a thumb until I dang near sliced off my thumbprint.

So when we left off we were walking into Nemo. Well the kids decided to sit down front. In the Bubble Zone. Me, I would have preferred the middle. But hey it's the Bubble Zone.it was a cute show, I probably would've enjoyed it more if I wasn't nodding off because the tylenol had kicked in. LLesson learned: Never have a tylenol and then got sit and watch a play in the dark, especially when one has a low drug tolerance.

Albert was nodding off too, it was his system was on overload and the body was just shutting down. Wellster and Sugah Mama loved the show, especially the bubbles. Mom said the movie was better. Whatever. Dev's on the Nook trying to get a wifi signal and when that failed, started playing a games until I threatened bodily harm again.

After Nemo Sugah Mama wanted to go to the big dinosaur as she calls it. What did she absolutely have to get on. The dinosaur ride like Dumbo. I was like I am not getting on that. My head was spinning and I just wanted to lay down. I actually thought about stretching out on the ground under the big dinosaur. Devin was like um, no. I'm too big for this I want to hit Everest. Albert volunteers.

Remember I said that the three Aspie kids were overloaded. Here's Sugah Mama's. When she gets overloaded, she gets mean and stubborn. On the ride she purposely had the dinosaur fly into the air, knowing thhat Albert was deathly scared of heights. Wellster did it too, mom said it was like they planned it. Sugah Mama goes down, Wellster went up.

In the meantime I decided Dev deserved a treat. He's been whining about pins and I thought it was a good time to get him a new set. He was a rock in all the chaos. Mature and caring not the usual teen angst theme. I got him a Phineas and Ferb set and a set of random bad luck pins. I just knew he would trade those because the Phineas and Ferb were going nowhere. Oh the pins, it's all their fault. You'll see.

After the kids got off the ride, Sugah Mama was crying, Albert had the deer in the headlight look and Wellster was whining about being hungry. That's Wellster, when he's overloaded he starts whining. Man I hate whining. Mom bought popcorn for us to share and Sugah Mama was still crying. She was upset that mom yelled at her for purposely scaring Albert and Sugah Mama had to hold mom's hand. Dev sat her on his lap and calmed her down. See, this is why he got the pins. A Rock. Albert wanted to see the 3:00 parade but was clinging to mom. Serious Overload. He felt as if people were purposely bumping into him. Time to go.

Dev, of course, was upset because he wanted to do Everest. I told him on our park hopper day we would come back and he could do it. I promised I would do it with him. Stupid Me.

We get home and I crash. I didn't care if the house was on fire. I couldn't move. I slept like a comatose patient. I can't even tell you what the kids did. I know Dev probably wanted to play his playstation but he couldn't. Why? Flashback to the day before we left.

We're double checking everything.
I say Dev, check to make sure you have everything.
He says, mom stop worrying. You keep checking things over and over.
I hold up a cord, "what's this? Do you need it?"
"No. Stop worrying. God, everything's packed."
"Ok. You sure?"
Sigh and snarky clomp up the steps.

Fast forward to our first day:

Dev unpacks his PS3, he's got games and controllers, power cord and . ..
No TV Cord!. He left it. That's right the cord I asked him about and told me he didn't need. Oh, he needed it. He thought Albert had packed it. How can Albert pack a tv cord if I was holding it in my hand. Mom and I laughed for almost 15 minutes.

Anyhooo. . .I think the kids played in the pool. I woke up about 3 hours later and the kids were asking for dinner. So what to eat.

Lesson 5:Be careful what you order, you might get more than you bargained for.

So where to eat? We decided on Bubbaloo's. I heard that this was the spot for BBQ. We ordered it online and mom and I went to pick it up. It was a straight shot. Right across the street from the UPS store. We needed to stop in CVS because Albert's ears were bothering him. He needed drops and ear plugs. It took us a half hour to get up there and an hour to get back. Traffic was seriously backed up and it was beginning to rain. When we get to Bubbaloo's it's like bbq all up in the nose. OMG! it smells so good. We walked up to the counter and gave them my name. At first they couldn't find our order because they thought we were a walk in. The manager realized that it was a big order and it was already packed and ready to go. Here it is: Have a napkin ready to wipe the drool off your chin.

The kids were so in love. They ate a bit of everything. Wellster didn't like the cole slaw. Sugah Mama and Albert won't eat beans. Man, mom and I tore it up. Dev was sleep so he didn't get to see the box when it came in, but he dang near passed out when he saw the food in the fridge.

There was even ranch dressing which made itself known when I spilled it on my passporter.

Tomorrow is another early day. It's Ohana at 8:45 and our Epcot Day! I'll tell you all about it tomorrow.

Great update! I'm gald you mentioned this BBQ joint, we LOVE US SOME BBQ!!!!!! we took a trip to Memphis in May and spent 4 days trying different BBQ places! We will have to try it this coming November..So far, there is 11 of us coming, I'll give you the real count when we get closer!

Hey everyone,
I haven't quite figured out how to multi-quote but I wanted to say. Thanks for reading.

So Sunday was Epcot Day everyone was actually up on time and we were able to leave with a good time before breakfast at Ohana. The mission was for us to take the monorail. It was cloudy but it hadn't started to rain. We were going to pick up ponchos just in case. When we got to Epcot it was like the skies opened up. We did it the broke people way. We had some plastic shopping bags and made impromptu ponchos

Dev of course, was not walking around with a plastic bag on his head. The kids were excited about riding on the monorail.

We got to the Poly with time to spare, we checked in and headed over to the family shot area. Sorry, I don't have this pic, I refuse to pay $30 for pics that only took 5 minutes to print. Dev looked like he was taking a mugshot. Um no, not paying for that. I can get that for free at home. So we're buzzed right after we're finished our pic and we're headed over to our table. The hostess gave Sugah Mama and Wellster maracas and of course they were over the moon. Albert, not so much, the noise really irritated him.
So first up was the good morning juice and bread.

I mean really, do I need to explain? Of course, Sugah Mama didn't like it because she hates raisins, but hey more for me!

As we were inhaling the bread guess who stops by?

The kids were excited. Dev slid his autograph book over pretending to be all cool. It's his first time seeing Lilo. But you know, he gotta play it cool, all "I don't care, if you sign my book or not." After Lilo left the parade began. The kids were excited and went to grab their maracas. Of course they couldn't find them. Albert had hid them when they were talking to Lilo. After getting them back the kids were off to the parade.

This time Wellster had no problem participating. He was all smiles and he just had a ball. After the parade. FOOD!

Yum! The sausage was so good. I'm a bacon girl, but that sausage was yummmy.

Stitch was next up. The pace in which the character came was good they weren't fast, there was enough of a break where the kids could eat.

Then Mickey.

The only pic I was allowed to take without being a super spy.

Oh and Pluto.

This is mommy I'm full. The bread strikes again. The boy just doesn't know how to eat at a buffet. He sucked up the bread and juice and he was full. You know what I said right? "Boy. . . you better suck it up and eat some more."

As Devin is attempting another plate Wellster starts asking him about the pins. Dev's flaunting his pins like he's wearing the newest Nike before anyone else on the block. Dev kinda reluctantly is about to give Wellster one of his lesser liked pins, when a Photo Pass CM is walking past and overhears their conversation. Luiz, that's her name, says hold on, I'll be right back. She comes back with a pin just for Wellster.

Aaaaaaahhhhh! So after the pin she shows us the pic we took when we first came in. Dev is like, "Yo, look at me. I'm all G. Mom I want it." Luiz says, well pull out your money and you can have it. It's $30." Dev looks at me and I'm like Umm no. It is so not in the budget. She laughs and Dev's like "this is so not fair." Luiz is like, life's not fair. Oh man did I like her. She was so real. Sugah Mama is admiring Wellster's new pin and the green eyed monster was about to rear its ugly head. Dev, graciously gives Sugah Mama his Candace pin and everything was almost right in the world.

Everyone's itching to hit Epcot and we got the check. The total cost $159.29
Subtotal: 127.94, automatic gratuity, $23.03, tax $8.32.
