Skip Sea World

We are an Epcot loving family, including my kids ( ages 2 1/2, 9 & 11). The more we go to Disney, the more we love Epcot. There is SO much for a 7 year old to do there. Stopping at the kid stations in all of the countries to get a stamp on their mask and decorate it is a great way to get them excited to visit new countries. There are character greetings, rides, shows, entertainment, food, fun, and fireworks! My 3 year old loves the "disney ball". He also loves the big mini train set outside of Germany!! We go to WDW in January when all of the other parks close early, and we always hop over to epcot at night. We love it!!!

So what does any of that have to do with skipping Sea World? Personally we went to Sea World last year after a 10 year hiatus and have to say the place has really went downhill. It is now a giant souvenier shop with some fish thrown in.

I meant to reply to a thread where they are debating on skipping Epcot or Sea World during an upcoming trip to the World.. A lot of people were saying that there isnt a lot for a 7 year old to do, and I was just voicing my opinion that we love it there and I wouldnt personally skip it for some fish.

In all the times I have been to Disney - I have never made it to Sea World. Not that I have anything against fish - I just hate leaving "the world."

we went to sea world last summer much to my totally disney devoted son's wishes (he's 19) and i must say we didn't much enjoy it and we heard about it the whole trip from mr. disney. its just not the same as being in disney. we usually never venture outside the world except for that one time and won't be doing it again.
