Does anyone know if these both hold the same amount of beverage?

The skinny ones hold 12 oz. and the wide ones hold 16 oz.

Even though the "fat" mugs hold more we always purchase the "skinny" mugs - they fit into our car cup holders! :drinking1

The mugs at POP both hold the same amounts. If I had it to do over we would definitely get the skinny ones since the fat ones would not fit in the rental car cup holders and it drove us nuts! Plus the skinny ones had the turning lid that opens and closes the drinking holes so it made it much neater for kids to drink out of without spills.

I think there are some mugs that are lager that other, but they are not at all resorts. I know I have an older POR mug when it was Dixie Landings. That one is at least 16 ounces. Its larger than the ones I've seen over the last couple of years.

We opt for the smaller ones. It fits in the cup holders of our stroller and car.

This lists some mugs as 12 oz. and some as 16 oz. Is this outdated information?? :confused3

This is definitely out of date. I was at POR 18 months ago and the mugs I bought are the same ones that this site lists as being for FQ (which was closed for rehab when I was there). Plus, I checked the bottoms of both mugs, they hold 16 oz. Just enough for a can of Diet Coke and a few ice cubes! :)

I emailed her to let her know she needs to update her website. :paw: :paw:

I like the tall ones best, but not all the resorts have them. Poly, for example, doesn't have them- only the short. I call the mugs "short fats" and "tall skinnies" lol :rotfl:

While the big ones look like they can hold more, there is a bigger gap between the outside wall and the inside wall. This usually annoys us since we would rather have the extra space for drinks but I suppose it is there for insulation purposes.

Aren't the 16-oz. mugs more collectible?? I think the large mugs are better for cold beverages, while the 12-oz. models are better for hot drinks.

Does anyone have any pictures of the Wilderness Lodge mugs?

Try allearsnet.com for pics - she has great shots from all around WDW and I believe that she has mug pictures (and prices) as well.

Now a tall mug that will fit in my cup holder...that I will get. I have never gotten one because I don't like the fat mugs. I also have never seen the tall skinny ones. Hopefully the Cont. will have them. This is our first time staying there so I don't know what they have. Anyone know?
