Skincare regimen recommendations?

I have to agree. I used Philosophy's Purity in the PM and Microdelivery wash in the AM. I use the Mictrodelivery peel once a week and everytime I use it I'm amazed at the results. Haven't used Hope in a Jar, but I'd like to.

Recently I won the Bare Essencials "House Party" and have been using their skincare and love it too.

I wanted to try out Philosophy's Purity and Microdelivery after reading some great comments on those 2 products.

I got the Body Shop groupon last week and really like their stuff so far.

I use Paula's Choice and love her products. They seem to last forever too.

I love PC! I use (because it's convenient to buy) Cetaphil cleanser and Olay moisturizer usually. I do have a Clinque eye cream I love, ALL About Eyes Rich. I sometimes switch it up and use an Olay cleanser and a Eucerin moisturizer but that's about it. I don't get breakouts, and those products keep my dry skin soft.

Wash with a mild soap (Nutrogena is usually pretty cheap). Use an inexpensive moisterizer (I use a generic cocoa butter during the night. Once a week or so, I use vaseline and sit in the tub with it on). Wear sunscreen during the day. (My day moisterizer is Nutrogena again, with sunscreen in it. My makeup also has sunscreen). Weekly, exfoliate - baking soda is gentle.

Olay and ROC lines from the drugstore are pretty respected by dermatologists for drugstore brands.

(I treat myself to L'Occtaine expensive skin care products. The results aren't any better than vaseline and baking soda, but I like feeling pampered once in a while).

This! :thumbsup2

It's not what you use, but that you wash/moisturize twice daily, exfoliate once a week, use sunscreen, etc. as long as you aren't sensitive to the ingredients.

Aldi skincare line is inexpensive(around $3.99 ea) but the scent is strong.

I bought Vitamin C powder to mix in my nightime moisturizer as an alternative to Philosophy's Vit C treatment http://www.philosophy.com/skincare-treatments/turbo-booster-c-powder-product and it works just as well at a fraction of the price.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good skincare regimen that doesn't break the bank? I went to an Arbonne party and love their RE9 product line but don't love the price that comes with it.

I'm supposed to have a skin care regime? ;)

When I'm in the shower, I wash my face with St. Ives Apricot Scrub.

I don't exfoliate, I don't moisturize, I do use sunscreen if I'm going to be outside for a long time. I don't wear makeup unless I'm going to a wedding or a funeral or some big special event.

That's my entire 'regime'. I never get any pimples, my skin is not dry or oily. I'm 43 and I don't have any wrinkles. I do have a ton of freckles.

Origins (Dillard's, Macy's) is hands down the best for me. I've used everthing; Guerlain, Lancome, L'Occitane, Clinique, you name it.

It's very affordable and they have natural alternatives to Botox, chemical peels, retin-a, etc. I use their Brighter by Nature line to even out skin tone and lighten sun spots. Your face will feel like you just came from spa every time you use it. :cloud9:

I absolutely swear by Mario Badescu products. I've tried everything over the years, and it's by far the best thing I've ever found. I've hooked at least half the people I work with on it. If you go to their website and fill out the skin survey, they'll send you an e-mail in a couple of days offering free samples. If you respond to it, they'll send you decently sized samples of your entire regimen so you can try it out before you buy.:thumbsup2

Thanks! I just filled out their survey!
