Sketchers settlement checks!

My friend received her settlement check today - $168. Can't wait to get home to get the mail!!

Wow, congrats! I hope mine comes through, I bought 6 pairs, but I could only find receipts for 4 pairs so that's all I submitted.

That would be very kool. Only two pairs here, so only expecting a couple of dollars.

However, I just received a check from the Healthnet lawsuit from back in 2008. I have been a member of several class action lawsuits, and rarely did I ever get anything. Normally just a letter saying that while I did win the amount of my award was less than $10 and basically, you get nothing.

All of a sudden, I got my DeBeers settlement (from my wife's engagement ring), and I never expected to get so much from the Healthnet lawsuit (My son was born and in the NICU for a couple of weeks, so our health bills were fairly high that year).

However, I just received a check from the Healthnet lawsuit from back in 2008.

Thank you thank you for mentioning this. We were out of network when I went into labor and gave birth. Needless to say we submitted for this lawsuit as well. In the meantime we had moved and I totally forgot about this. I am getting things sorted now to have our address updated etc.

I also just received my Sketchers settlement check. I can't remember if I submitted one or two but I know at least one and my check was $17.21. Still more than expected and didn't think it would ever happen since it's been so long.

Me too! I have to admit, I wondered for a few minutes if the refund was a scam, since I never get this much back on a class action lawsuit!! I didn't have any receipts, either, but I figured I would send them pictures if they asked.
