Sketch to Reality

ok so i have heard alot about this book, and being a huge fan of DLP and always looking up more info about it and secrets etc what this be a good item to treat myself to?

Is there and newer version which was released for the 20th anniversary?
Has anyone bought a copy? If so how much was it? (Need to consider this in my budget)

Is it good and do you get lots of info to read about it?

The book has been recently re-printed and is available from the authors Disney and More blog and from Neverland Editions web site.

It was not updated for the 20th but it is still a lovely book and worth every penny. I think it is presently on sale about 150 Euros including postage.

Unfortunatley it is not avaible in the parks to purchase.

The book is really great with a lot of fantastic pictures in it.

I´m the lucky one who ones the last book of the first printing English edition.





If you have the budget I guess you should go for it.

I absolutely love love love my copy. I have the Millenium edition, which I think had glossier pages than the original and some concept artwork included.
My family bought it at DLP for my 40th Birthday

Thanks for the reminder about this book. I bought a copy 4 years ago on my last trip to DLRP and agree it is a lovely book. I must get it off the bookshelf to read again before my next trip in the summer.

I bought a copy of the new edition last year and it is a wonderful book. It's a limited edition too which makes it extra special.

Another Disney book I love is the Poster Art of the Disney Parks...

I managed to get a signed copy of Sketch to Reality a few years ago off ebay for a bargain price
Highly recommend it.

I too thought there was an updated version released for the 20th - they did release a new book but it isn't a newer version of Sketch to Reality. I purchased it on my recent trip, can't give you a review as I haven't removed the shrink wrap and opened it yet

They have a copy on display in some but not all the shops, you can have a look through to see what it's like before purchasing. I got mine in the studio's and when I asked for it the CM behind the till had to send someone to get it out of the 'safe' - apparently they keep them under lock n key It was 50Euros. No AP or shareholders discounts are available on it as it is a limited edition.

how long ago were you there when you got it?? im hoping they still have them avaliable now!! if anyone is going any time soon (before june ) and spot it would be greatly appreciated if you could just let me know where and how much?

'20 years dreams anniversary book' is the book im after, thats the one i was thinking of in the first place, not sketch to reality. lol

I saw the 20th anniversary book yesterday in Harrington's on Main Street. I can't remember seeing it anywhere else but in September I got my from the Storybook shop and it was ¬50.

Disney Gallery in the village always has a superb collection of books, I love that store, just wish I could afford the artwork in there

I was there end of March and got it from the shop in the studios (the one on the left after the turnstiles) but I did see it in the book store in the main park as well and yes it was definitely 50euros. It was my birthday treat to myself as well

Sketch to Reality is TOTALLY worth the money. I was worried that it might not be, but it's amazing.
