Sizes (chubby) on Forbidden Journey question

I'm sure this has been asked although I could not find a direct answer. Does anyone have measurements of the width of a person who could fit on this ride?

My 11 year old is a husky little dude. He is working on it and has already lost some weight. He wants to go on this ride so bad and I am not sure if we are setting up for disappointment.

He is not nearly as big as an obese adult would be but he is overweight and he is shorter than adults so I didn't know if the restraint would come at a different place on him or whatever.

I know it is not an exact science and there are not really publsihed dimensions but does anyone have an idea of maybe a hip or chest measurement that would work for this ride? Concerned parent here wants to elimintate disappointment on vacation even though we have had serious talks about his eating habits and are taking serious steps to resolve the situation.

With some hard work maybe it won't be a concern by the time of our trip!

My husband is 6'2" and 310 lbs. and he was able to ride, but he said it was snug. He's a 3/4X in shirts. I'm 5'7" and 250 lbs. and a size 22/24 and I fit just fine as well.

I know this isn't exact measurements like you asked, but we were surprised that we could fit in, so I'm sure your son will be fine.

I don't have an answer for you but I do have the same question. I'm 5'5" and about 180 pounds. Does anyone know if I'd have a problem with anything? Really worried about it :[

I'm 5'4 and so is my husband and I weigh 184 and he weighs 230 has a 42in waist and I have a 44in chest(so we are kinda round) and we were able to fit comfortably on all rides.

Yeah! I'm about the same size as you although a lot of my weight is in my thighs and butt. Do you think I will still fit?

Most of my weight is in my stomach, which I would think would be me more prone to not fit in the seats than you. I would think you'll be fine.

Here is a suggestion: When I went last June
I wore my bathing suit under my t-shirt and shorts
It sucked everything in and I had room to spare!!!!
I got this trick from another person!!!
