are you asking about the rides in disney or universal?

there is a current thread about larger peeps fitting on the rides in this forum.
some posters give their size, dimensions, weight and experience for particular rides.

In Disney you should fit all but like 2 might be iffy. Sum of all thrills and something else. On the Disney side of the forum search "pooh sized"

For IOA/Universal search "who fits FJ"

I believe there is something on allears.net perhaps that has a section called "Disney at Large" and I think it goes down ride by ride and shows what the seats look like and such ...

Do not beat yourself up worrying or explaining away your weight loss. There are more Pooh Sized folks than you will believe at Disney. There are no calories at Disney by the way ... that is my RULE.

You'll be just fine. Get some walking in before you go. Fitting isnt as big of an issue as stamina can be so walk, stand, get great shoes, hydrate and take breaks. Sum of All Thrills may be an issue. Slip into the teacups sideways. Take your time and pull the seatbelts all the way out before you hook them. The tram for the backlot tour wasn't very kind to my knees.

Inquiring minds want to know how you knew this...

the OP asked the ride/size question in the main Universal thread.

haven't seen that poster in the darkside threads before so assumed she was needing UO info, but i wanted to clarify parks before i went into detail.

Oh, okay. :rotfl2: This thread must be making the rounds. When I read it, it was on the Disney planning board, so I was completely amazed that you could ask that and be correct.

It is. :)

OP, Universal is hard for people of size. Especially people who love the thrill rides. Everyone carries their weight differently, so definitely check the test seats of rides you want to go on, but also try to focus on the non-thrill rides, the sights to see, etc etc.

Dh hasn't yet been on any thrill type rides, but has still had some GREAT days in the parks. He hopes to ride FJ in October, but there's no way to know if he'll hit the mark. Regardless, he's going to enjoy his days there even if he has to wait longer to ride the things he wants to ride.

Ok..at Universal I hated it. It is NOT size friendly at all. They have "test seats" that are not so tucked away if public humiliation is fun for you to try out and see if you'll fit.

i was with a friend that wanted to try the test seat but shy about it.

i told her to sit in the test seat and i would act like i was taking pictures of her so she wouldn't feel she was trying that seat on for size.

after that, i noticed others, of all sizes, did the same.
had friends take pics of them in the test seat.

DH thinks it's embarrassing, but seriously, no one else cares what people are doing in the seats. And if they do, that's on them and they aren't worth thinking about one millisecond longer. There are tons of people just sitting in the test seats, trying them out, taking pictures (we've had to wait for those people to finish so hubby can try the seat!)....really no one cares at all.

But like I said, there are SO many other rides! Focus on those, so that if you can't fit the thrill rides, you've got the other rides to do over and over.

If they were tucked away people wouldn't notice them and wouldn't think to try them... it would be a lot more humiliating to get to the ride, sit down and be pulled off.
