So this is embarrasing but, I'm a bit of a bigger lady (a size 26) and I was wondering if there was any rides I should stay away from or that might be too tight?

I don't want to queue for ages to find I don't fit! :rotfl:

Crush and RC Racer are the 2 that come to mind but I think the rest would be no pb :goodvibes

Orbitron in Discoveryland can be a bit of a tight squeeze to get out of. Trip before last I saw two people stuck in one of the spaceships (flying cars) - they were trying desperately to squeeze out. You might be OK on your own but you might want to have a sneaky look first :thumbsup2.

You will be fine.

I am a 22 stone man and the only one I can't get on is Crush and simply because I haven't tried because everyone else my size has failed to get the restraint down.

I was fine on crush but I did have to breathe in and well it was a bit of a ...crush!!

All the others are fine, but I agree that you might want to get your own orbitron rocket. I notice that cast members will tell people who might struggle to get in their own rocket!

You should be fine, my friend is a size 24 and we went a couple of years ago. The only ride she had any issue with was RC Racer and even then the CM was able to push the restraint down and it fitted.

We didn't go on many of the rides with pull down bars (Casey Jr., Aladdin, Orbitron, dumbo etc...) as she was worried about pulling the bar down on them. But when I last went I was a size 20/22 and had no issues with this at all.

There is a seat on the front of RC Racer that has a bigger harness, I am 6'2" and short for my weight, and I was directed to that seat to fit me in.

Hun please don't worry, i'm a size 22-24 and i manage fine, although i haven't tried crush yet, go, relax and have fun!! :thumbsup2

Oh, I don't want that happening! How embarrassing!!

Who needs to breathe, right? :rotfl:

I hope I fit on Crush! I'm so excited for it.

The ones with the bars are the ones I'm worried about really. I mean, when I think Disneyland, I think of the Dumbo ride! Fingers crossed on that front.

Thanks hun!

Autopia is a bit difficult to get in and out of if you're less mobile (whatever your size!) and a bit tight, but its quite tedious and generally a long wait so I wouldn't worry!

DH and I couldn't fit on orbitron together, (I'm a 16, he's 15+ stone) but I think we could have if he'd pulled his legs back a bit.

If you see a CM on a fastpass line you might be able to grab a quick word before queueing if you're worried:)

So glad you had a good time, I'm a size 24 so could you advise any rides I should avoid?

That's good to know. My mind is slightly more at rest now. I'm a 20-22 and went to Alton towers last year and they had to use a special key to lock me into air! I just laughed it off. Hopefully ill fit on crush ok.
