Size of Sci-fi seats

I was really young the last time I went to the Sci-Fi but I vaguely remember the booths being small. For my honeymoon I was thinking my fiance would enjoy the premise of this restaurant, but as a larger woman and a tall man, I don't want us to be uncomfortable. Does anybody have any experience with this restaurant as a larger person?

My son is 6'1" and weighs about 250 (wears a 2XL). He and his girlfriend easily fit.

We were walk-ups, so we didn't get a choice of the booth-type seats. Instead, we were put towards the back, where it was like they had hollowed out a car, put two tables there, and then proper chairs. Very comfortable for us, and I was glad to not have to deal with the booth seating.

If you're concerned, I'd request one of those tables!

I found the booths to be on the smaller side and I'm of average size (5'6", 160). I couldn't cross my legs underneath and the table was almost up to my chest. And there isn't much room on the table when you're eating. You can sit at one of the normal tables in the back of the restaurant though if you are uncomfortable.

We had dinner there last year and my husband had no problem with the seats in the cars, he's 6'4" and about 250. And believe me, if he wasn't comfortable he'd have been vocal about it.

Size wise you should fine, its the leg room that's tricky... But I don't remember it being unpleasant, DH is 6' and he doesn't remember it being a problem, so I say give it a try.

Not that you asked, but,,, food wise, it not the best... Stick with a burger (P.S. they are HUGE...) and enjoy the one of a kind atmosphere that Sci-Fi has to offer.

We were a walk-up and were seated at a car table that had regular chairs. I really liked this as opposed to the other car tables for our family. We didn't have any size issues with this. I was about 6.5 months pg, so who knows if the booth would have been comfortable. Our kids didn't have to fight as to who sat where and with whom in a booth, either.

I'll be requesting this kind of table on our next trip as it was roomy and comfortable.

I'm 6'4, pushing 300 pounds with a belly and broad shoulders. We also had our girls, 3 & 6 with us. I had no problem with leg room or fitting in the booth. My wife is 5'6 and sat across from me and we didn't feel cramped or anything like that with leg room.
