I know this has been discussed, but I'm trying to figure out how much we'll be able to fit into the rental fridge at All Star Sports. I've heard people describe them as "dorm-sized." But I took a look at the refrigerators available to rent from A Baby's Best Friend, and they look VERY small. My "dorm" fridge in college was much bigger than this.

Are the Disney one's at the Value resorts any bigger? We'll have 6 adults and 4 kids total, so we are hoping to have skim and 2% milk for breakfast in the room. Dd still drinks whole milk at home, but she's almost 2, and I think we'll be pushing it to even fit the two other milks. I won't be able to fit even 2 half gallons, will I?

I noticed on the main Dis site that it said milk will be cheaper in the gift shop than at the food court. Should I just plan to hit the gift shop every day to get quarts for all 10 of us? Boy, that will really add up. We were planning to eat on the cheap for breakfast by doing cereal in the room. Any idea how much a quart is in the gift shop? Do they sell half gallons there?

I have never paid for one at a value, but thats the size of the ones at moderates, I would think that they are the same size. And I've heard that the milk in the gift shop fits the best in that fridge. I think its a half gallon, but i'm not exactly sure. I hope that answers your question.

Yes,that is the same size as the ones at values. We fit in quite a bit including 2 half gallons of milk. One was turned on its side on the shelf, the other in the door.

We stayed at a moderate and found the fridge to be larger then it looked. We had enough space for a half gallon of milk, at least a dozen water bottels, some bottels of beer :rolleyes1 , a bottel of wine :rolleyes1 , some sodas, and a couple of tupperware containers (fruit). I had brought a medium sized cooler and a small cooler and did not think I would be able to fit half of what I did. I assumed that I would keep the waters in the cooler, but I was able to fit almost everything. :cool1:

Just remeber to buy smaller packages (i.e 2 1/2 gallons of milk as opposed to a 1 gallon jug, or soda cans instead of a 2 liter, etc..)

Wow, you are definitely a pro at getting the best use of the space! :rotfl:
We have had them at both moderate and value resorts and yes, they are that size. :earseek:

They are mini-bar size. They are very small. I wouldn't count on being able to fit a dozen water bottles and beer and pop, etc. Stopping at the food court is a major pain in the butt, and sometimes a necessary one.

When they are delivered, they are warm. If you set them to the highest setting to get 'em cold, your stuff may freeze. :)
