Hello, Friends.

We're at ASMo Oct 7-14 on the FTP (our first on site trip). We prefer to bring our own water into the parks and like freezing several bottles each day to take in. Are the refrigerators available for rent at the ASMo large enough to put 3-4 twenty-ounce water bottles in the freezer? I'm envisioning a dorm size refrigerator but those can range in size from two feet by two feet and no freezer in them at all, to nearly waist high and plenty of freezer room.

I'm thinking the refrigerator is worth it to us to have milk for cereal and juice in our room for breakfast most mornings (two adults, two children) instead of the food court. If I can also freeze my water bottles, all the better.

Thanks for your input!

Think dorm refrigerator, and think SMALL. They are the smallest ones, the cubes, which I don't even think are 2 feet tall. The freezer is just a small area, you might be able to fit two bottles in there, but that's it.

If they are the same size as the other resorts.
I agree with jel0511 but there is a shelf if I remember correctly under the freezer section that got pretty cold also. It would partcially freeze some of our drinks also. I think I might of got 3 bottles in the freezer can't remember.

I agree with the above posters, the fridges are usually small. Once I saw a larger-than cube-size one in the room next to ours at CBR but it was no taller than 2 1/2" feet or so.

Something we did on our last trip--picked up a styrofoam cooler at the grocery store and refilled it with ice each night. The stuff on the bottom (like the water bottles) were pretty much frozen solid and the things on the top (milk & yogurt) were plenty cold. I was really skeptical of doing this and worried that it would get too warm & everything would spoil, but were there over 10 days time and never had a problem. You might want to save on the fridge rental and try this yourselves.

Otherwise if you are driving and can buy one cheap or borrow one you could always bring your own. We saw a beautiful Lexus pull up next to us at the Poly last month and one of the first things they unloaded was a cube fridge!
