Does anyone know if the handicap cabins are larger than the non-handicap cabins? The ones with ramps appear wider than those with steps.

don't know - but won't recommend the cabins to anyone with problems getting around. OKW is called out in nowhere - where the cabins definitely are.

now don't get me wrong - they are great - but if you have problems getting around would stick to one of the dvc resorts.

bcv and bwv are nice for adults, vwl is nice for both kids and adults and is close enough to the FW that if your other relatives are staying there - they can easily visit you.

there is also OKW (lots more room), SSR (walking to DTD), and AKV (the newest until KTR@CR is announced)

Perhaps I should have explained better than I did. We've stayed many times in a cabin and at other resorts. Never stayed in a handicap accessible cabin. I do not have a mobility problem. I'm curious and have an informal bet with DH that they are larger.

I've found nothing in regards to the cabins being any larger in size; just that there are 13 HA cabins located on loop 2800.

Based on Disney's HA rooms property wise, I can't imagine the HA cabins are any bigger than a standard cabin; just like a HA room is the same size as a standard room.

I've read that the HA cabins are nearly identical with exception to a roll in shower/fold down seat in the bathroom area.

We stayed last year, 8 of us in two cabins, one standard, one wheelchair accessible. As far as I could tell, they were exactly the same size. The accessible cabin had a ramp outside, wider doorways and a roll in shower.
