Six Feet Under Tonight - Let's talk. (SPOILERS)

In last night's episode when David saw his life passing before his eyes when he thought he was going to be shot, there was an image of Nate as brain-damaged? It was the same image of Nate that flashed through Nate's mind when he had his "near death" experience. Yet, he's never appeared this way on the show.

Nate also saw an image of himself and Brenda going to dinner at the Fishers' with a baby. Anybody remember this? DH thinks that Nate is really dead. Thoughts?

I remember the vision of Brenda with a baby. I've wondered about that, too.

it was there best show of the season

Hmmmm... Nate dead. That's really interesting. On any "normal" show, I'd say no, but SFU is very tricky and anything is possible. There are no rules on this show (which is why it's so good).

Which brings up another matter. If Nate is dead, then everything else that happens must be a dream. Or at least all scenes involving Nate, which is many of them.

God I love this show.:teeth:

I also think it was one of the best episodes yet, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I was yelling at the TV for David to fight back!

Not sure about the Nate and Lisa thing, should be interesting to see how it all ends up.

Anyone know how many more episodes to go?

I missed the show on Sunday, but watched it last night on HBO2. It was bizarre to say the least. I think it was well done, but am trying to figure out why they went in this direction. I know this show has not followed the rules but it still needs to make some sense. Just my opinion. Jay

It may be the start of pscyological problems for David in future epiodes or conflict with him and Keith...who knows, but as stated, this show marches to its own beat::yes::

DH and I just kept yelling at David. He was the poster child for what NOT TO DO if you are ever a crime victim. DH got so frustrated that he went into the other room. I watched the whole thing though.

I agree that this will potentially make David even more insecure and unstable. In turn, I can't imagine ex-cop Keith really relating to how David dealt with the whole thing.

On another note, I also think that the psychic was talking about Brenda, not Lisa. The Claire storyline is a little too quirky.

I thought the previews were interesting in that Keith appeared to be back (not on tour), maybe because of what happened to David? If that's the case, he'll never forgive David for that. He was also telling David that he needed "to tell his family." IF that was about the carjacking/violence, I can't imagine how they wouldn't know, considering the body on the side of the road. Perplexing.

Nate needs a swift kick in the pants, although I did feel sorry for him in the grief group where he just didn't fit in.

This show. You either love it or hate it.
