So even though three CM's told us we could book our ADR's on Feb. 2, we can't book until the 12th and since that's coming up, I've been working on our ADR plan.

I'm anticipating that we won't get all of our choices (we're calling early in the morning on 2/12, but places like Le Cellier and CRT fill up pretty fast, right?) and we have some blank spots, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

I know it's a lot of eating (and time spent eating), but we're a group of adults (me, 23, DS 22, DM and DGM) so we're not concerned about spending every second available on a ride and we just want to try as much as we can :) Will we succeed? Probably not (we'll probably be too full!), but I'll bring back some pics for the food porn thread.

So, here's what I have planned out so far...

Day 1 (Arrival):
No breakfast (we'll be flying)
Lunch (?...Grand Floridian Cafe maybe? Suggestions?)
Dinner- 'Ohana (Unless they get rid of the potatoes and the bread pudding)

Day 2 (Epcot)
Breakfast- Akershus Princess Breakfast
Lunch- Coral Reef
Dinner- Tutto Italia

Day 3 (MK)
Breakfast- 1900 Park Fare
Lunch- Crystal Palace
Dinner- CRT (assuming we can get the reservations...if not, probably California Grill)

Day 4 (Resort Day)
Breakfast- Kona Cafe
Lunch- Chef Mickeys (first dinner seating, so late lunch)
Dinner- Narcoosees (latest seating we can get)

Day 5 (Epcot)
Breakfast- Snack credit
Lunch- Chefs de France (we did dinner here last year)
Dinner- Le Cellier

Day 6 (MK)
Breakfast- Crystal Palace
Lunch- ? (Any suggestions anywhere in MK or in the MK resorts?)
Dinner- Tony's

We definitely enjoyed Crystal Palace early breakfast (earliest res you can get) to get us into the parks early and in prime positions rope drops.

We had a lunch at the Plaza in MK - easy res to get (we even got one walk-up the day we left). It was tasty and relaxing.

Our favorite meal of the trip was Narcoossee's - we were there during Wishes and the restaurant emptied so everyone could watch it from the porch (the music was playing through the speakers).

I'm curious about the 10 day difference with the CMs. Are you staying at a resort? If so, you should be able to do the 180+10 days for ADRs...

Yep, we'll be at the GF.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the CM's thought 180+10 means you can book 190 days out. We thought they were wrong (hence why we kept asking while we were sorting out other issues) and when we called at 190 days out (Feb. 2, like they said), dining CM said "Nope! You've got ten more days."

I would be concerned about eating at Chef Mickey's so close to Narcoosees. I would eat a late breakfast and skip lunch.

For day 6, How about Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch or going to the Wilderness Lodge for Whispering Canyon Cafe?

See, we really want to do both. We were going to do a 4:30 at Chef Mickey's and as late as they could get us at Narcoosees (since we're already staying at the GF, no transportation necessary and we're all adults, so no worries about being out late).

I'll take it into consideration, though :)

We were thinking LTT (or, more specifically, my sister was).

I want to do WCC.

I may need to email her some posts from the Food Porn thread to sway her over to my side ;)

Sorry a little off topic. You must be flying in on Aug. 10th. We fly in then and are making ADR on the 12th. Also. We are going to be at Ohana's for dinner on the 10th as well. Anyway I think your Adrs look great. :thumbsup2

Too many meals, you'll be too full. Drop or move either Coral Reef or Tutto.

Breakfast- 1900 Park Fare
Lunch- Crystal Palace
Dinner- CRT (assuming we can get the reservations...if not, probably California Grill)

You are a group of adults and have two princess and two Pooh meals targeted?

Day 4 (Resort Day)
Breakfast- Kona Cafe
Lunch- Chef Mickeys (first dinner seating, so late lunch)Doesn't usually offer lunch unless its holiday/busy season? guess this applies for your trip?
Dinner- Narcoosees (latest seating we can get)
I would do a Chef Mickey's late breakfast and Narcoossee's move or drop Kona. Sleep in or get in a workout or pool time then head over to CM. Become a pool whale in the afternoon then take the boat over to GF for Narcoossees'. :thumbsup2

Day 5 (Epcot)

Seems most post encourage away from Tony's(I've never been). At this point on the trip you'll be so full :rotfl2: I'd book the Plaza in the heart of MK, a lighter meal where dessert is a must; what better way to end? If you don't mind a return to Epcot(not that far on the monorail) book the Tutto or Coral Reef here.

I don't know...........that just seems like soooooooooo much food! I would personally throw in some 2 credit meals or dinner shows.

I don't see any counter service listed, so I am guessing you are getting the premium dining plan?

My favorite restaurant in The World is Wolfgang Puck Cafe at DTD. (We request to eat outside on the patio because it gets a little loud inside.) DH always orders the monstrous steak. The pumpkin ravioli is to die for!!!

Thanks for the tips everyone!

I'm not concerned about it being too much food...I figure we can order lighter items for lunch...and none of us have any problems leaving food on the plate when we're full. I think we just want to try as much as we can, since that was the impetus for us getting the deluxe plan in the first place. I'm not concerned about the time constraints, either, as most of the days we're in the parks, the parks are open very late (MK is open until 2 or 3 am one of the days we're there).

My sister has decided that she wants to go to California Grill, so we'll probably be moving things around...but I think planning is fun and it brings the vacation a little closer.

I want to clarify one thing: Septbaby, I really don't see the problem with adults doing character dining. I see plenty of posts of adults doing it without kids. My sister and I are in our early 20s and we never got to go to Disney as kids. We never got to experience any of this. And even though we're not kids anymore, I'm sure we'll find some magic in it nonetheless. I'm not looking to be criticized for our choices- I'm looking for suggestions.

Deluxe, yeah. :)

I figure if we're ever too full to make one of our meals, we'll just skip our next ADR and pick up a CS later (Cosmic Ray's is still one of my favorite meals of all of Disney :) ).

We're hoping to fly in on the 10th...airfare is ridiculous right now so we might end up flying into Tampa on the 9th and staying there (we've been to Tampa for a cruise and have a hotel we LOVE) for the night and driving over to Disney the next morning.

A one hour drive, as of the prices I checked tonight, would save us $1,000 on airfare.

But we'll definitely "see" you at Ohana's on the 10th...it's our first-night-at-Disney tradition :)

You should be fine getting CRT and Le Cellier at 180 days out, especially since you want a dinner ADR at CRT and not breakfast, which is the very difficult one to get.

Also, for the Chef Mickey's and Narcoossee's thing, you will probably have to call back and use a different name and number to make an ADR for one of them, since Disney is getting very strict with people double booking ADRS. I realize that you are going to eat both meals, but the ADR system won't, and might cancel one.

Okay for you opening on day I would suggest Whispering Canyon. Great food wonderful atmosphere just plain fun. Plus a chance to look at the Wilderness Lodge which is sooooooo pretty.

Now of the ones you have here is what I think

Coral Reef was hands down our best meal when we were there. Food was great, loved the aqutic life service wonderful. Is on our list to repeat.

Princess Storybook great interaction with Princesses. We had the last breakfast service of the day before lunch. Service was poor. They were pushy like they wanted the table. Food was very tasty and it was great to let the kids taste new thing (goat cheese, smoked salmon) However all were 1/2 ill about an hour later

1900 Park Fair great right up there with Coral Reef. The Strawberry soup and mussels were awesome. Cindy and Princess great. Will do again

Chef Mickey:
Great interaction with the charectors. Spaced out nicely so I was able to get some food in the kids between each. Food was pretty good not as good as 1900 PF. But dessert OMG awesome all I can say is Choclate covered oreo's OMG .

Oh I know an option @ a MK resort is the Concourse Steakhouse. If you don't mind I will share our experience. We arrived a good 5-10 min prior to adr waited 35 min. Service was slow and rude. The only food that stands out right now is the Lobster Bisque which was amazing. But didn't make up for the rest of the food being YUCKY as dd said. All and all our glasses were empty 3/4 of the time the wait was horrible and food was just okay. I would recommend not wasting your time at this one.

Those are the only ones we have been too. Can not wait to read you review when you get back

Enjoy your trip

Not actually a criticism, just pointing out a trend. You made a point say an adult group and I was suggesting moving/decreasing meals. The character meals are just another place to "consolidate". I know we are all kids at Disney.

My comments about too much food is more aimed at actually being able to enjoy the experiences at each. We ate at Chef Mickey's and Narcoossee's. I hope you have a full appetite at Narcoossee's; its that good. When we ate a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's I didn't eat again until after SpectroMagic about 10pm, I was that full. We loved our Coral Reef meal, just wanted you to have room to enjoy that too.
