Hi everyone! I have been tasked with planning our upcoming trip in June, there are six adults that will be traveling down to WDW. We are looking into where to stay. Two people really want to stay at AKL but that is proving to be wayyyy too expensive for everyone else. I have been looking into AOA Family Suites but I am not sure how comfortably six adults will fit into the suite. Another option we were looking into was getting two different rooms at POFQ. If anyone has any insight into this, it would be greatly appreciated!

It depends on what the sleeping configuration of the 6 adults would be, really.

An AOA family suite will be a queen and two full beds. Two rooms at POFQ will be 4 queen beds.

Renting points for a 2BR at OKW might be competitive. That would get you a king, two queens, and a sofa bed across three distinct areas.

Unless you are determined to stay on site, then try a vacation home. It will be far more comfortable with 6 adults. We used All Star Vacation Homes in Windsor Hills back in 2008. Loved all the space plus a luandry/kitchen/pool.

Would renting points for a 2 bedroom AKV Kidani stay be an option? That would give those two AKL. Kidani has dedicated 2 bedrooms that would give 1 King (in one bedroom) and 2 queens in another, plus a pull out couch and sleeping chair in the living room (in case this isn't 3 couples).

Honestly your "makeup" has an impact. 3 couples, 6 friends, all guys, all girls, mixed, how many will share beds .......

Also the extra adult charge has to be factored into your price.

You need to look at your options and what you will get for your money. Some people are fine with splitting the costs and then drawing straws to see who spends the week on a sleeper sofa (or chair). Obviously, you will walk a fine line between what people want and what some are willing to spend.
Hotel Rooms:
AoA Suites:
One queen bed in a separate room with private bath. One full-size sleeper sofa and two sleeper chairs plus the kitchenette and another bathroom. Your least expensive option.
POFQ (or most moderates):
Two rooms which may or may not connect. Two queen beds in each room (possibly one king bed if booked that way). A total of 2 bathrooms between the two rooms. No kitchenette.
Fort Wilderness Cabins:
Full kitchen. No washer/dryer. Bedroom with queen-size bed and bunk beds. Queen sleeper sofa in the Great Room. ONLY ONE BATHROOM!!

DVC RENTALS: (worth considering instead of 2 Moderate Resort rooms)
OKW 2-bedroom Villa:
Master bedroom with a king bed and private bath. 2nd bedroom with 2 queen beds and another bath. 2nd bedroom has a kitchenette. Great room connecting master bedroom and 2nd bedroom has a queen sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair. Full kitchen and full-size washer/dryer in the unit.
AKV Kidani Dedicated 2-bedroom Villa:
Master bedroom with king bed and private bath. 2nd room with 2 queen beds and another bath. Great room has a queen sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair plus another bathroom. Full kitchen and apartment-size stacked washer/dryer in the unit.
AKV Kidania 2-bedroom Lockoff Villa:
Master bedroom with king bed and private bath. 2nd room with 1 queen bed, full-size sleeper sofa, bathroom and kitchenette. Great room is the same as in the Dedicated 2-bedroom.

Thank you everyone! Im looking into renting points now! Looks like it will be the better option for us and will give us a fairer sleeping options for everyone. (2 couples, 2 Single travelers)
