Sites that alert users for Disney Restaurant availability

at one point Disney shut down all the sniper adr companies

please note that if you type the name of a company and it becomes ****** out it means that this site is not allowed to be discussed on the DIS. Please do not try to get around the filters by spelling it with spaces or offering to PM names to others.

thanks!

But does it alert you via text when an ADR time slot opens up ?

The Touring Plans service SENDS you a text if it finds an ADR time slot you want when it checks. That does not mean you will RECEIVE the text when the ADR time slot opens up. I tried it, and the text came through to me 4 hours after it was sent. I sent an email inquiring about the time lag, and they told me this happens with texts and I should google it.

Also keep in mind that it does not check constantly. Perhaps it searches every 20 minutes, or 15, or 25. I don't know exactly. But it is not always searching. So ADRs can open up and be filled while it is not searching for you. If you set up a search on the Touring Plans website, you can look at it and see when it last searched for you.

When I searched on my own, I saw two Be Our Guest ADR slots for lunch and 2 for dinner during the days I would be there. The only one the service found for me was the one for which the text arrived 4 hours late, and of course the ADR was gone by that time.

But it's pretty darned good for a free service ;)

I also use Touring Plans reservation finding service. On the off chance we have a very desired yet hard to get ADR. This doesn't happen much with us, there just aren't many places we have to eat. But when there is, and when I can't get the time I want, I use TP

I've had great luck, it's never not found a time for us.
Lags with notices from texts are not a TP problem, unfortunately. Nothing they can do for your provider to get the text to you correctly, all they can do is send it out, which it does. Luckily I think this is a rare issue
Also worth noting that it does not book it for you or lock it down until you get there. You have to beat others to it and you can almost assure that if it's hard to get there are others looking too. So you gotta be fast.
The one drawback to TP is if it alerts you and you don't book it, or if you want it to keep looking for some reason, you have to restart the search. When it sends you an alert, it stops the search. This is important to remember if you miss the ADR

We used TP for our BOG reservation the first week in June. First two times, I tried to grab the open slot on MDE as soon as I got the text, but the spot was gone. Third time was a charm. As @AngiTN mentions, you have to remember to restart the search after every notification if you want it to keep searching.

I love touringplans.com. Helped us a bunch the last 2 years with hard to get reservations and its free. It will tell you about times that are close to what you want. Other times I've gotten lucky just randomly checking with the MDE app.

I also used the TP alert. Once I didn't see the notification in time, once I didn't like the time suggested, once I got the notification but the ADR got snapped up before I got there and twice I got what I was looking for. I also just randomly check MDE on both website and app and often get lucky.

I have used Touring plans and they alerted me when the Bon Voyage Breakfast started taking reservations and I picked one up.
The alerted me for a BOG lunch and I didn't get it quick enough. A few days ago I just left the Disney website up all day and kept hitting search (when I had time) and low and behold I snagged 2 BOG lunch reservations! Then yesterday I did it again because one of our lunches was 2:20pm which is late for my kids and boom, after a few hours I snagged at 12:35. I prefer this way since TP never even altered me that there were any of the three I ended up getting.

It seems to be best to do it all.

Use whatever reservation finder you can, well, find. And check as often as you can, yourself.

Touring Plans found two that I was looking for last trip. And I found one.
