Sites along the water

Does anyone know which sites in loop 300 have a nice view of the water behind them? We stayed there once and were at the beginning of the loop and couldn't be moved. Would love to sit outside by the water

In Loop 300 the sites near the canal are sometimes very wooded and some don't have access to walk through other than a small path that you can get burrs on your clothing (or in my case, my dog's fur). The sites I would recommend are 326-324-322-320 which are on the right hand side and are the only definite ones that you could have the access your are looking for.

We had a river side site. 1300 loop was very nice.

I recall looking at the first or second site as you enter the loop on your right. Directly opposite the basketball pole. Out the back of the site was a view of a water..end of a pond or canal..and a volleyball net, and playground. It was really lovely, and I'd love to stay in that spot.

Hi- I snapped this photo for you. This is the view of the outside of the 300 loop from the playground area. As you can see, it is pretty heavily wooded, and I wouldn't say that any site really has a good view of the water. However, the site numbers listed above do back up to an open area, and then the water is back there. You aren't going to have a good view of the water, but these are nice sites! The site you see in this photo is #302 ( I think that this is the site being described in post #6, above).

That photo is looking back toward the site..right?..So there is a playground and volley ball court out of view? I believe that IS the site we looked at and like #302.(That's me in post #6!) Thanks for the number...wasn't sure which it was. I thought it was nice because it was out the back of the site..just enough of a view of water..without being too close(buggy?)..or I worry also about..gators and snakes..(I know..probably needlessly)..so I personally don't want to be too close to where they might be hanging around. I figure that's a nice enough distance to put your chairs out back in the morning for coffee..and it seemed sort of peaceful when we were there. I did hear on the boards..that someone takes this site from October to March..sort of as winter season type thing. I wonder if any of the other sites also look out the back at this view. I will check on our visit in May to the WL. We are hoping to get our TT down this fall..just my husband and myself. This trip in May is for the family..and everyone is coming. We are getting into a new trailer this summer..and hopefully also a new truck..so we want to make this the year for our long talked about..but never taken trip to FW! I wonder if I made a reservation about for this now for Sept. or Oct. if I'd stand a chance of getting it, since these other folks occupy it for so long come fall? I'm sure they've already requested it if they go every year. Hmm..something to think about. Thanks for that photo...can't wait to go!

Yes. I was standing right next to the tetherball court when I took this photo, so the volleyball net and playground were off to my left, and are out of the photo.

This site would definitely be within ear-shot of the big swing-set there on the playground. Could be a plus or a minus, depending on your point of view.

It's been a while since I've seen it (last visit was 4 years ago..I will check it out again when we visit Disney again in May). From what I have read here on the boards..this is possibly the site occupied from October to March by a couple wintering at FW. So..who knows if it would be available anyway. Sure looked nice when I saw it last..I could see why they would choose it for a season.
