I usually use easywdw.com/waits, but that has been down for the past couple of days. Does anyone know of another online site that will have the current wait times at the parks?

Don't know of any other site that has access to same data source other than Disney's own MDE.

You know, my husband has been pushing me to get a smartphone for years and I have been resisting. I never really saw a need for one and worried I'd spend all of my time on my phone like so many people I see out in public. Well, it looks like Disney is going to force me to get one now that they have MDE and all that jazz.:worried:

I've been wondering about easywdw's app too. I miss it and might just join you in getting a smart phone. I'll add that I'm considering for many reasons, not just the app. ;)

I use the Lines application for three reasons:

1. The use of their algorithms on top of the posted wait times provides time reports I have found both more accurate and precise.
2. Their application is very light and loads way faster than MDE. Granted it provides schedules and wait times only, but mostly that is all I need when that is what I need. The presentation is. Ore efficient and less cluttered as well.
3. The subscription comes with all of the other TouringPlans goodness - including long-term crowd calendars we use to plan where we will be on particular days.

The only place to get accurate wait times is the clunky MDE.

Unless Josh gets his data from MDE?

touring plans worked well for us, we used it for universal and WDW and worked well the whole time. It also had times for all the shows for that day which we liked as well.

I resisted smartphones for a while. I'm at my computer all the time at home and didn't see the point of having a phone for more than just making phone calls. Now you're not going to get my Android away from me. Not because I have to text all the time or constantly communicate with others though. I use mine for the calendar, to compare prices on the spot when I'm out shopping, to be able to check the weather when I'm out and about and of course for the Lines app. They are useful tools to have.

I also prefer TP's Lines app. It is excellent. Along with the menus section and the touring plans section, it has a LOT to offer.

He indicates he does.
