Hello!! My fiance and I are heading to Disney in June and are still undecided whether we will have an Escape or small Wishes wedding. Do you have to have a Wishes wedding booked prior to having a site visit and if you do a site visit on your own, do you have any suggestions? I would also like to see if we can do any tastings as well but I am unsure if we can do it on our own?

We are doing an "on our own" site visit this weekend, looking at both escape and memories venues: checking out Sunset Terrace, Seabreeze Point, Canada Terrace, the beach at the Polynesian, and the general area of the wedding pavilion. We made a lunch reservation at Grand Floridian Cafe and also have day planned in Epcot to make a day out it.

You would need to have a Wishes contract signed in order to do a menu tasting. You can do a site visit for Wishes before you sign the contract by getting in touch with a sales consultant. And all of the Escape locations are accessible onstage/at the resorts, so you can see those on your own.

Hi guys! Just hopping onto this thread, FH and I are planning to scope out sites at the end of April, we're going to be driving all the way from Pennsylvania!!

How does parking work? Will we need to pay for parking at each of the resorts or is parking open to everyone?
Thanks for your help!

Just let the guard at the gate know you'll be checking out the resort and they will let you park for free for about 3 hours at each resort.

You will need photo ID to access the resorts if you don't have a room reservation. I've never known them to impose a time limit of how long you park there as a day visitor though! But they will ask the purpose of your visit, and can sometimes get a little funny about just looking around. However, if you tell them you're visiting for a meal, they're absolutely find with that!
