Somewhere on this site I saw there is a site where you can pay to get priority seating at Disney. They have some reservations listed and it costs about $15. Does anyone know what site that is? I was just curious and wanted to see the site. TIA.

I don't know of such a site.
There are currently at least 2 sites you can sign up to search for restaurant availability for hare to secure ADR's. They have nothing to do with priority seating.

"Priority Seating" is the old-school term for "ADR."

There is a new one that doesn't have many listings - hopefully I am not breaking any rules by posting this - dis dining agent dot com (and no, I am not affiliated them them and was disappointed in the listings).

My understanding is that there are several websites that you can pay them to monitoring the Disney dining reservation system and they'll notify you when then find an ADR that matches your criteria. From there, it's up to you to actually make the ADR. So they don't guarantee you that you'll get the ADR for the money you're paying them.

There are a couple of threads on the Disney Dining Reservation board.

I'm only familiar with Disney Dining Buddy, and for a fee, they will notify you the minute the ADR you want becomes available. I just looked into setting up a request for Be Our Guest with them, and it was going to be $8. Prices may vary depending on the popularity - not sure. But as PP mentions, you would need to drop what you're doing and make the ADR right away in order to secure it. They just notify you it's available.

You're actually breaking the rules by not just posting the link. Putting in spaces, spelling out "dot," and other tricks to get around the filter are what will get you in trouble.

If you want to post the link, just post it: **************.com

If you ever post a link and it is starred out, you'll know that that particular site has been banned from the disboards.

Those sites cannot make bookings for you. All they do is stand in for you on the searching. They alert you when they get a hit on something you want, and then it is up to you to book it. If you can't get to the website or call WDW when you get the hit, if it's something hot you may not get the reservation. These services do not, and cannot, guarantee that you will get the reservation you want.

Walt Disney World does not permit the transfer, trading or selling of restaurant reservations. Yes, selling reservations used to be a thing.

Umm, has anyone taken a look at this site? Essentially this site does seem to be selling reservations. They have booked numerous reservations under their name and are offering to release them for you to grab for a fee. I have used Disney Dining Buddy, Scout, WDW Tools, etc and those are fine. They just alert you when something is available. In this case the site is taking tons of reservations off the Disney site (for free) and then charging you to release them. Seems really shady to me.

Sorry, my post above was in reference to this comment.

That's pretty much exactly what they're doing. And, yes, it's pretty shady.

Not just shady, but a little scary. If this becomes a larger "business", Disney will have to do something to make it a less lucrative one like taking credit card deposits for EVERY ADR. Always someone out there taking advantage of a system to make a buck.

That is just crazy! I wonder how many people they con into doing this. You have to be pretty desperate to pay for an ADR.

The site I was looking for is **************.com. I saw it in passing one day and was curious what it was. If sites like this keep opening up Disney will probably change their booking policy and make it harder for everyone to get an ADR. It's always a few bad apples. Thanks everyone!

I hate that this site went to the next level of actually taking up a reservation rather than just alerting the consumer to the availability. I suspect that this is going to have a negative impact on ADRs for all of us. It will artificially increase demand initially (especially if there are spin-offs), and Disney will eventually be forced combat it in a way that isn't consumer friendly.

They're all doing the same thing. This one just isn't trying to hide it.

If the site is actually making reservations and then "releasing" them to guests for a fee, that is against Disney policy. this is basically what Howie's Angels were doing, except for the fee. They are the reason why you have to pay in full at booking for CRT.

The sites that just do the searching for you and alert you when a reservation is open technically are not...but I am sure Disney would like these search bots off their page. Until they figure out how to zap them (maybe use a captcha) then it'll go on.
