Hi Everyone,
I'm new here officially, but used this board heavily in planning our first disney trip in 2015. I cannot tell you how helpful you all are!!! I have 3 young children, 6,7,8 and we are planning our second trip to the fort for 2017.

Last time we had a preferred site on loop 300 and had a tight squeeze. I think we want a premium site this time. My hubs really wants a paved site. Any guidance on which sites have better paving than others? Our preferred site was not paved last time.

We have a 36 foot Rockwood ultra lite travel trailer with 2 slides.

Great that you are planning another trip to FW - your family will certainly enjoy it!

Maybe you are confusing FW with another campground, as their sites have 'always' been paved. If you feel you need more paved space, you will definitely want to consider a premium site. We always get preferred sites, and have plenty of space for our 34' mh with three slides and awning, so any of the premium sites will definitely meet your requirements.

Just tell them when you make your ressie the length, # of slides, and awning, if any. :goodvibes

Thanks! I thought part of it was paved, but maybe not the whole part.. I really don't remember specifics, just trying to make the hubs happy to go again :). We really only were there to sleep. I'm not sure we even put our awnings out!! I definitely learned a lesson though and I'm planning a whole day just to enjoy the fort this time!

The Tent, Full, and Preferred sites have a tent pad in case people want to spike a tent into the ground. So that is by design.

Premium sites by design have no tent pad and are over 55 feet long and 18 feet wide all paved. Any of the Premium loops will do (a few sites are smaller in Premiums but they are the exception).

Thanks so much Ed! I'm betting that was the case! We're going Premium this time.

Always used premium sites and have found some (Little Bear loop) that were tight but outside of that most of them are plenty spacious and should suit you fine.
