Has anyone taken this stoller to Disney? How was it at the airport, park on on the buses?? I went on a solo work trip last week and kept staring at the moms with strollers I had to take some deep breaths! It seems so intimidating to tote around to kids, carry on's and a stroller, but I will be finding out first hand next week!

We just went to the store yesterday and looked at the stroller, mainly b/c we wanted one for Disney and the saleslady QUICKLY talked us out of it for that purpose. She said it fold really bulky and is difficult to toe around. BUT if we were driving she said it would be fine, since it would go in and out of the trunk and not on busses. Well it was a no-go for us, since we are finally not driving this year :) haha!

We bought our Joovy before our summer Disney trip last year and we love, love, love it! We have absolutely no problems flying with it. It goes right through the conveyor belt at security just fine and we drive the kids right to the gate and gate check it. We do that reverse in Orlando and it is great! It slides easily into the monorail and friendship boats and folds up quickly. It is a sit and stand, so there is some bulk. However, I usually carry the children and my dh carries the joovy onto the bus.

We've taken it with us on three trips so far (one with me handling the kids solo in the parks while dh was at a conference) and will take it with us again this summer.

We have a Joovy and like it, but it has a few downsides. The main one is that the front seat does not recline very much, so if your little one falls asleep she will be slumped over. It is heavy and folds pretty bulky, but I don't think any more so than any other tandem stroller. Have you considered something like a Mac side-by-side? They are fairly narrow, fold small, and aren't too heavy. They also have a good recline.

FABULOUS choice!! as is the Combi Twin!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!

I've used the Joovy 2xs at WDW. The first time we stayed at CR and being on the monorail was great. When it came time for the bus, I hated the stroller. One, it is heavy (I normally use a Mac Quest). Two, when folded up, the rear wheel locks so instead of pulling it along, you have to lug it. Three, it is bulky when folded, and the foot rest kept flopping down. Not a good thing when people are trying to walk by in an already crowded bus.

On our second trip, we decided to drive to the parks not on the monorail. This was soooo much easier, especially with AAA diamond parking.

Once in the parks, the stroller was good. It was a bit tough to start and stop suddenly (like when some people stopped right in front of me), but I was also pushing a 5 yr old and 1 yr old in it. I rigged a mesh basket on the side of it to store our ponchos and rain cover, while keeping diapers and some small purchases in the main basket. The rear seat slides which is nice, covering the basket. I was able to fold the stroller with some things in that basket too which is handy. During parades and fireworks, my son would stand on the seat for a better view. Both kids were able to fall asleep in the stroller (they can sleep anywhere). The front seat reclined a bit so that dd could rest her head on the side of the seat. DS hooked the safety strap together and then rested his arms and head on it to fall asleep. Cups went into a little mesh area on the back of the front seat. It's not a bad stroller and customer service was great (there was an extra screw rattling around in a wheel and they sent a new one fast).

Thanks, I will warn dh that he will be having fun lugging it around, but yes I think once we are actually in the park and walking around with it, it will be fine. I think we'll practice this weekend.
