I'm going to be visiting with DNc (5yo) and DNph (8yo). Which sit down restaurants would you recommend for my DNph who is a picky eater (the 5yo eats everything! LOL). He usually prefers chicken nuggets, french fries, potato skins, pizza, ocassionally hamburgers. Now with the MYWT Dining Option a lot of planning will be needed. We've only done the CRT last trip, so this trip I want to take them to something different. TIA

We enjoyed Hollywood and Vine. It was for all the picky eaters including the adults in our crowd.

They have steak, pork, chicken, and seafood.

Kids have there own bar with mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, and kid stuff. The kids bar is lower so they can make there own plate if they are old enough.

Dessert bar was good. Ice cream with lots of toppings and lots of minatures for the adults.
We like to do this place with Fantistmic dinner package.

Chef Mickey's is another choice either breakfast or dinner. I prefer breakfast more than aroung 11. Everything here. Lots of character interaction.

Hope this helps!!

Every WDW sitdown restaurant (except Victoria & Alberts) has a kids' menu with standard kids fare such as chicken nuggets, hamburgers, etc. (even in Epcot). Plan where everyone else wants to dine. The picky eater (I have one who is 7) will not starve.

You will find most of those items on the children's menu at practically all the restaurants. We found that most of the restaurants are pretty accommodating to children. You want a PB&J just ask and they will make it up.

Here are some suggestions:
MK - Columbia Harbor House, Ltt
EC - Le Cellier, Rose & Crown, Liberty Inn
AK - Tusker House
MGM - Sci Fi or 50s PT
Resorts- practically all the restaurants.

Belive me, there are chicken tenders everywhere! The year my DS was about 8, that is all he ate the entire trip!! Most places have fries too. The buffets all have children's selections thought not always too healthy. I remember one trip we did a buffet just to get some fruit into DS and there was none at all on the buffet!!!
