Hi, we are trying to decide which sit down meals are the best so we can make our reservations when it is time. Do any of you have any favorites? We already know the character meals we are doing, it's just crazy trying to look at every menu out there for the sit downs, so I value your opinions, we are traveling with 3 children, ages 9, 7 and 2. When we've gone before we've eaten at the Sci Fi Dine In, Mama Melrose's, The Whispering Canyon, and the Rainforest cafe. I would appreciate any of your suggestions/opinions! Thank you!

You may want to try Bongos if you like Cuban food

if you like buffet, I vote for Crystal Palace. That counts as sit down, right? Half sit down maybe? I was just really impressed with the variety there.

Here's a few suggestions that my boys liked.... first is Sci-Fi, their absolute favorite, 50's Prime Time has a nice atmosphere. TRex is also a lot of fun. At Epcot, we liked Coral Reef and Teppan Edo. At MK, the Plaza is good for a quicker bite. Have fun planning.

Coral Reef is fun with the fish tank. We got a table right next to the tank and my girls really enjoyed that.

I highly recommend the Coral Reef Cafe in Epcot. We went for the first time on our last trip and both the kids and adults thought it was great! Food was good, view was awesome, and we had the best waiter in all of Disney World :) The Liberty Tree Tavern in MK is another family favorite. We've never done the character meal there; the kids enjoyed the regular lunch.

My boys were good at anything with characters - but if you wanted something not character related - the rest w/ the fish tank kept their interest for a period (I think it is Coral Reef) in Epcot - and they liked teh Sci Fi Drive In theater as well.

For non-character sit down meals, our favorites are:

Coral Reef, Le Cellier, 50's Prime Time Cafe

We like the Yak and Yeti at Animal Kingdom. It serves chinese food but my 8 yr old loved the honey chicken there.

Teppan Edo and the Briergarten in germany BOTH in Epcot. Also like dinner in the land ( character/sit down) they had the BEST salad ever.
