Hi I was thinking of renting one for our upcoming trip, I have a 18month old & 5 yr old, has anyone used one? Does the front recline for naps if noone is standing?? How is the canopy, does it cover well?? Is it a pain to fold?? How is the bottom basket??
I saw the picture, but it is hard to tell. I think it would be convenient, because my 5 yr old will probably be fine, but he may get tired. But my DD may need to nap in it, so I can't tell if it reclines.

Any advice??
TIA

I bought a SnS thinking I'd want to use it at WDW because my daughter hates to ride in a stroller now. But, after using it at the zoo, not having a place for my older child to possibly nap is a real downer. While it is perfect for a 3-4 hour outing I don't think it would work for us for a longer day. My kids aren't good stroller nappers but I'd like for them to have the opportunity if they want to nap while we're at WDW. We're going to rent a double, probably from orlando stroller rentals.

I had a Joovy Caboose, which is similar to the SnS. My younger son napped very uncomfortably in it. The front seat does not recline enough for a small toddler.

My DS6 no longer uses a stroller but for our upcoming trip I'm renting the Citi Mini Double from Orlando Stroller Rentals. I like that both seats recline and the canopy is large enough for sun coverage.

I'm hoping to wear them both out so I can do some window shopping while they nap one afternoon down Main Street! :woohoo:

Wanted to add that the canopy on our baby trend SnS could be much better. I have an extended canopy that I put over the top of the attached canopy to make it bigger. The basket underneath is a decent size but to access it adequately the fron seat needs to be upright and my older child can't be on the back.

Mine is easy to fold and though it is a bit heavy, it is a SnS afterall.

I compared the Baby Trend Sit-N-Stand and the Joovy Caboose and bought the Joovy for a trip to WDW when our boys were exactly the same ages as yours: 18m and 5. I wouldn't do it again. As someone else said, the front seat did not recline enough for the younger one to nap well (and that's not just the Joovy, the SNS didn't either). The basket was a decent size, but if you tried to fold it up with too much stuff in it, the stuff fell out. I liked the canopy on the Joovy a lot more than the SNS; our oldest is quite tall and the canopy was shorter than he was, sitting down.

Although they are good in theory, it was not good in practice for us. If I had to do it again, I'd probably take a lightweight stroller that reclines for the younger child (like a Maclaren Triumph), and rent a single park stroller if/when I needed it for the older one.

I bought a babytrend sitnstand a few years ago, just for disney and it worked great for us. The first year we used it, it was for my then 17 month old dd, and 6 year old ds. It worked really well. The worst part about it was the buses, but it wasn't much more difficult than taking a regular full size single stroller, just a little heavier. It collapses pretty nicely (but you have to roll the stroller back first to get the wheels right.) The basket underneath is nice and big. I always left one of the sides straps undone, so it was easier to get into. The front seat doesn't recline very far, and it was one of the things I was most worried about, but my dd had no problem falling asleep in it at 17 months or at 2 1/2. My ds even found a way to fall asleep in the back around closing time, but I can't imagine it was comfortable at all. We're not going to be taking it back this year, because my ds is 8 and is just getting to big/heavy for it, but I'd take it again in a second for a toddler and kiddo 4-6.

We have the Joovy, and loved it. We had the fisher price one 3 yrs ago and preffer this one.
the frony does not recline alot, but that didn't matter for us yet, as we have a infant and 4yr old. u can sit and stand with the front seat reclined. Basket was a little small but worked. The only downfall was no drink holder for us, but that is minor.
I got mine on amazon for 119.99 and had it shipped to the resort. Good price, and not much more the renting one. Also for the plane trip home it fit in the xray machine so it folds up pretty well.

We have one and I cant remember the brand, I will have to check later. But I like it because it is small and easy to push around and doesnt take that much room up in the car. But other than that I hate it. The front seat doesnt really recline a whole lot, and then you cant have a standing/sitting toddler with the front seat reclined. Also, there isnt enough room for stuff for 2 kids which the stroller is made for. The basket under the stroller is so small.

We used our Joovy Caboose in Dec for our 14 mo old and 5 year old. The baby napped, and the big boy hopped on and off as he wished. He did complain that when the baby was reclined for naps that he didn't have enough space on his seat. However when given the option to walk and suck it up, or sit, relax and be pushed, he chose to sit, and even fell asleep. It doesn't push as easily as a single stroller, but I was so glad we brought it! We use it at the mall, and on daily walks and I would absolutely use it again at Disney!

I own a SnS but we are leaving it at home for this trip. Disney isn't the place for the SnS when it's in its truest form.

Both my kids are tall (DD - 1 and DS - 3) and will be 2 and 4 for our trip. We have already pulled out the back seat (the best recliner) and I'm worried about not having that 2nd full seat once the kids hit the wall so we are taking our double jogging stroller.

I don't care that it's big and bulky! I paid $25 for it, so if something happens to it, I won't go crazy. It has a great canopy and reclines in the full enclosure so it works great for the kids.

My close friends have one of the double Jeep strollers, have you looked into those?? They swear by it!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my SnS, but I won't take it back to Disney since the kids are bigger (worked like a dream when they were 6 mo and 2.5!!!).
