It was early on. I'm actually not sure he had even married Christine yet. Apparently, it wasn't due to problems with Kody so much as Meri and Janelle couldn't get along. She didn't really leave Kody just moved her kids away due to the conflict with Meri.

Yes he was married to Christine at the time. Christine and Janelle had their first babies in the same year. They discuss Janelle's separation in their book. Christine and Janelle were married within a year of each other. Or just over a year.

I like the RV, and if that means I see Kody less, then so be it. He's annoying, complains too much, and honestly seems like he can't be happy for anyone if it's not directly connected to his happiness.

next week looks like a humdinger-he can break all his covid protocols to officiate at a wedding for a friend but he couldn't to be with one of his children for major surgery. i have to wonder how many more of his adult children not currently estranged from him will become so. kody is a poster child for narcissists.

Really he can’t be away from Sol and Ari for more than 3 days but he can be away from Truely for weeks? She is only couple years older.

we caught that with the ages as well. i think he is so hyper-focused on kody, kody, kody he doesn't have room in his mind or life for the 'trivialities' of his other children. i also think that the thing that is making him most angry about christine ending the marriage is that SHE is leaving him, she is in control. he is fine with ending a marriage with meri and dictating if/when she lives local to the rest of the family-that christine is not going to let him control her for the remainder of her life is killing his ego.

1) So, Truely's "visitation" would be at Robyn's? It said a lot that he would make a permanent place for her there and not at another Mom's. Also, "visitation" doesn't sound like a custodial arrangement.

2) Did I hear that Kody suggest Christine to sell her house and put the money on Coyote Pass? Did I hear that wrong? I thought he said something about how that could help to pay it off faster.

3) I don't know why it surprises my that Kody has been so vocal about not staying in Janelle's RV but I thought that was really insulting to her. You should spend time with someone you love because you love them, not because they have a big enough space for you. So much for "for better or for worse" when you are talking about bathrooms!

I think it was the episode about Robyn and Kody's honeymoon and Christine and Janelle were both struggling with the idea that Kody was on a 10 day honeymoon with Robyn while they were stuck at home.

Anyway, during a sit down with the 3 wives Janelle was talking about how she had been avoiding talking to Kody when he called because she was upset, though I don't remember about what specifically, maybe just the length of the honeymoon, and when she finally took his call she felt so much better. She went on to say how they often had hour long conversations about everything and Christine said she never had that and that she had never been valued as an intellectual. I thought that was SO sad.

Kody can go out of town for a wedding, but can’t be there for his daughter’s surgery or to move her across country for college? And then he says “I don’t know why Ysabel has her walls up with me!” Seriously???
He’s so obsessed with being there for Robyn’s kids, is that because they are the obedient ones (along with their mother)? So he only gives his love and attention to them. No wonder his other kids don’t have much to do with him! But he wants to throw the blame back on the mothers, like he didn’t have any part in the destruction of the family! What a jerk!

My "favorite" (always have to put that in quotes for this show...) quote from Kody this last episode was "Well, if this was a normal, monogamous relationship, we'd have to agree on things like this." Kody. That goes TWO WAYS! Don't act like your wives are walking all over you when you basically say, "Well, if that's what you want" without giving them alternatives and without telling them what you'll do if they go with that option. That's not how a relationship works. And if you want polygamy to "work" then you need to treat each individual wife as a monogamous relationship when it comes to decision making when that decision only affects you and her and not your other wives.

Like Kody with the RV. "Sure. Get it if that's what you want." Left unsaid: That he wouldn't live there. or even, "Hey, I'm not sure this is really a great idea. Can we talk about some other options?" Don't feign support. If you aren't going to support a decision, be honest about it.

The bit with Kody at the end was awful. He keeps laying down various rules he won't budge on and daring wives to not follow them. And keeps getting called on it. Christine is gone, and Janelle said she chooses her dogs and kids over Kody. The family is crumbling.

He is absolutely delusional about Truely. He's blaming Christine for Truely's response to all of this. But it was very telling that Truely didn't even know Kody and Christine had split up before she was told. Wake up Kody. The problem isn't that Christine told Truely you haven't been coming over. The problem is that you haven't been coming over.

Between the surgery and the college move, it's pretty clear he doesn't want to be involved in certain kids' lives. I feel so bad for Ysabel. Happy for her she's clear across the country from the mess now. It will be so good for her mental health.

Preview shows Christine saying, ” When I sell my house, the money is not going to Coyote Pass and the rest of the family...no”. Kody is going to lose his s#&* when he hears this.
Last episode, the comment he made about staying in the RV…”why should I suffer based on your choices, I will accommodate you as best I can and then make my own choices”…WOW!! Janelle needs to leave him too.
He also tells Meri she should move to her B&B in Utah and live there. He only wants to be with Robyn and when the Janelle & Meri leave his sorry “a$$”, he’ll be placing all blame on everyone else, kids ncluded.

In the article he says he couldn’t be with Ysabel for her surgery because he can’t be away from his home and his family for that long (6-8 weeks). So, that just proves he only sees Robyn as part of his family.

But even 4 days(how long he was gone fir the wedding) during her surgery and immediately after would have been more than he gave and would have shown he cared at least a little.

Exactly.
May have been some quarantining down on each end to add to that timeline but still!
This man child is infuriating and it’s nice to see Christine mad. She has every right to be.

Really rich coming from a man who has always leaned on his wives to earn the money in the family. And seriously. What is Ysabel? Chopped liver? Ummmm, Kody....... Ysabel IS FAMILY. What an *******.

And we're all smart enough to know that even with quarantine time it didn't have to be 6-8 weeks. We all know he'd only do that for one of Robyn's kids.
