Now the really bad part is that it must be docked just like the others. If that doesn't bother you then this is awesome! But not for me. I'll wait until the truly portable one comes out.

I wouldn't mind, as there are certain shows/DJs I'd record and timeshift the way Tivo works for TV. I like the mp3 capactity, too. I just don't have the funds.

I've heard that the XM portable one really doesn't work, either, as you need a clear shot to the satellite to actually get reception.

I just bought the new Starmate Replay (which is awesome), so I don't think I will be getting a portable one until they are truly portable.
