are the 24 single use points available for annual use or is that a one time deal. Meaning can I buy up to an additional 24 points as needed and renews annually or is that basically 24 points to be used for the life of the contract?

You can buy up to 24 points to make a reservation at seven months out once per UY. They cost $15 a point to buy. You need to be making a reservation and be short no more than 24 points. You tell them you want to purchase the one time use points, they transfer you over to accounting to make the purchase, then you are transferred back to finish the booking on that trip. If you need more points the next year, you repeat the process and pay $15 a point once again. If you cancel or modify the reservation and don't use the OTU points, you will lose them at the end of the UY.

FYI - they can only be used at 7 months. They don't have home resort priority.

I just bought some OTU points and the MS CM handled the entire transaction. Maybe not all the CMs are trained on the purchase process and I just got lucky when I called. The process went very smoothly and took less time than I expected.
