Single Serve Crystal Light-type Drink Packets Available at Wal-Mart in Orlando

I had a hard time finding the Wal-Mart Brand of single serve Crystal Light-type drink packets here in Chicago but had no trouble finding them at the Wal-Mart in Orlando. They were $1.77 for a 10 pack and came in lemonade, peach iced tea and raspberry flavors. Our favorite was the lemonade and we found that if we used slightly less than the whole package it was perfect. Some people may prefer using the whole package but that was a little too sweet for our taste.

I purchased dome of these when they went on sale here. The peach iced tea has a strange taste. (IMHO)The Lemonade was great.

The peach iced tea does have a strange taste -- it reminded me of a Jolly Rancher Peach candy.

Ooooh I the peach iced tea flavor! Reminiscent of my favorite -- Snapple Peach Iced Tea -- although not as good.

The WalMart brand is a great bargain, although I have found it does not mix nearly as well as the Crystal Lite brand. I had big clumps of powder in my drink that were darn near impossible to break up. Still, it's a minor inconvenience when you look at the price difference.

I've found that our Super Walmarts sell the Crystal Light ones for $2.50 (regular price) and that's 14 to a pack. Target sells them for $4, so I always stock up at Walmart. Haven't tried the Walmart brand, but at $2.50 for the Crystal Light, I can't bring myself to switch for the little difference in price. If you figure out the "per unit" price, Walmart's is 17.7 cents a pack, and Crystal Light is 17.85 cents per pack.

But that's just a heads up - I don't know if all Super Walmart stores carry them at that price, but it's worth a look. I'm completely addicted to the Raspberry Ice, and I've always bought their Lemonade because it has to be one of the best.
