I've been doing some research like any good disser does before a vacation... so what ive been looking for is a list of rides at either park (including WWoHP) that have single rider lines... since I am going solo this would make life easy..

I can only find 2 attractions that have single rider lanes listed.. the spider-man ride and the hulk coaster..

There is also SR on Forbidden Journey, Revenge of the Mummy, and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. Some are not open all the time--HRRR notably. I'm sure there are more, but they escape me at the moment.

There are also single lines at: Spiderman, Hulk, Dr. Doom, Jurassic Park River Adventure at IOA and MIB at the Studios. Most of the attractions mentioned have single lines that are open only when the standby line is longer than 60 minutes. You will have to check to see if they are open when you're there.

Correct. However, some rides (Rockit, Hulk and Spiderman) sometimes close their single rider lines if the singles line gets too long. Then they will reopen it once it dies down a little. You're really going to have to ask if they're open. Most of them do stay open though.

so it would seem that it would be in my best interest to get the express pass since the single rider lanes are touchy at best?

it seems rather inconvenient to wait till the line is 60 mins till they open it up and then if it gets to long they close it... thats just really odd to me..

thanks for all the replies.. i ordered the universal orlando 2011 book today so i shouldn't have to ask such random questions

thanks!

If you decide to purchase the EP, wait until you arrive and check out the wait times before spending the money. EPs are non-refunable and date specific.

I've seen single rider open when the line is like 10 minutes. It really just depends.

Ripsaw Falls sometimes has a single rider line.

Not necessarily. This year I have been to Universal in early May, early Sept, mid Oct, and early Dec. The only time I ever found the single rider line closed was in mid Oct at Spider Man and then in early Dec at Men in Black. It was fairly early in the morning and it wasn't opened yet. Standby was only like 20 minutes though. Both times single rider was open as soon as I got off.

I'm at IOA now. No single rider line for Hulk or Spiderman. Liness are 15 & 20 minutes respectively...

Please remember that depending on when you are vacationing, Ripsaw Falls may NOT be re-opened. I have not checked on how far along they are on the repairs so I am not sure of the real estimated fix time.

I will be at IOA on Saturday (tomorrow) and will check and post for all so you are not disappointed if it has not re-opened yet!

Ripsaw Falls will be closed for several more weeks. Don't be surprised if it is closed for all of Feb...
