I saw somebody posting on Facebook the other day that she is enjoying all the Single Rider Lines at DL and DCA. It is a few years since I have last been to DL and at WDW Single Rider Lines are definitely threatened by extinction. I will travel with my DH, but he does not tend to go to the parks, which makes Single Rider Lines perfect for me. Does anybody know which rides at DL/ DCA have single rider lines?

Off the top of my head I know that these rides have single rider lines:
*California Screamin'
*Splash Mountain
*Indy
*Grizzly River Run
*Soarin'
I believe that's it.

Thanks. I am glad that Soarin still has a single rider line. They removed this from the WDW version ages ago.

we were there last week and a few times they were NOT offering SR for Screamin'. (DH rides, I don't). the CM at the start of the line had passes/tickets that he handed out.. he actually offered 2 to DH so that he could also take 'my' place but DH declined. Usually only needs one to get his fix heheheh.

DH did have to stop by 3 times before they were an option that day. dunno if there is any sort of rhyme or reason to the frequency or duration of the SR line being available there.

At all the attractions with single rider lines at WDW, they always sit you with someone. Do they do that at DL with Splash Mountain. I don't think I would want to ride that one with a stranger...

that's the entire point.. filling in ALL available seats after groups have been accommodated.

if Splash Mtn is configured that way, you will be sitting with someone else.

Thanks for all your input. I know that they very briefly had a single rider line at Toy Story Mania at WDW and I was hoping they might have one at DCA. I am very happy about Soarin, Indy and Grizzly River Run.

They USED to have a single rider line at Toy Story but took it out about a year ago :(

The configuration of the Splash Mountain "Log" at Disneyland is different from the one at WDW, so I don't think it would be as uncomfortable.

(that picture is from google, I don't know those people)

Just asked a CM about that the other day.

They had to many complaints from people that had their children put with a strange adult and on TSM you can't see the rest of your party on the same car.

I noticed when they used to have the single rider line that they didn't put adults with children. And they would ask if they minded a single rider.

Just reporting what a lead told me 3 days ago.

And in the past I was put with a younger girl... although I don't remember if it was at Disneyland or Disney World.

We used the single rider line at Splash Mountain. Very convenient. We went right to the front of the line. After going thru the queue together my party was split only to ride. Given the configuration of seat at DL's Splash Mountain I think this is the best way to ride

What a shame.

This sounds a bit like an excuse to me. I only did this ride once at Hollywood Studios. I had stood in line for nearly 2 hours. I got to the front of the line and there was one group of three adults ahead of me. They boarded them and I was asked to wait. This seemed a bit silly to me as the line was so long. I then got boarded next and was joined by a gentlemen and two kids. He sat with his son and I was joined by a little girl of maybe 7 or 8. I would never do anything to a child. I am a former elementary school teacher, but they could not know this. It would have made more sense to put me with the other adults an let the family of three with two young kids ride by themselves.
