Single rider line

That is true. But I've seen it not enforced. I was on a solo trip in 2010 and saw a very young boy, definitely younger than 7, in the single rider line at EE. I was certain the CM would turn him away, but she didn't. She just measured and since he met the height requirement, sent him into an empty spot. I was pretty ticked off at the adults who were with him. He seemed anxious and hesitant to ride alone but the adults with him were pushing him to be in the single rider line.

Interesting...they frequently ask my kids that are 9 and 11 at DL.....(they both look around 9/10).

SR usually works well for us, but sometimes I have gotten stuck in a long and slow moving SR line at RnRC.

There are 3 in my family (me, DH and DS11). For several years, we've done single rider whenever we could. At least 2 of us almost always end up together so one of us rides with DS. The other is usually in the next run - right behind the others. We can ride things 3 or 4 times that way instead of standing in the regular line and riding only once. The only exception I have found is Rock N Roller Coaster. The single rider line there is ridiculously slow. If we can't get a fast pass for that one, we skip it. The line is heinous!

Dh and I always do single rider at EE and TT. Mainly because we have young children too short for these attractions. We usually spent our FPs on things they can ride. It is usually much shorter than the SB wait. As for RnRC, it isn't always shorter than the regular line. We used to get FP that....I'm not sure what we will do with FP+.

It does not have a dedicated SR queue. At most any attraction you may get asked for singles (or doubles) near the boarding area--this is not the same thing.

Unfortunately, the dedicated single rider line for Mission Space disappeared with the appearance of the orange and green sides. Prior to that the 3 lines were used for Standby, FP, and Single Rider, where now it's Orange Standby, FP, and Green Standby.

Tower of Terror frequently calls out singles.

I was out at DL and Soarin has a single rider line. A mom tried to use it with a 5 year old and an older child, they gave her a hard time. They said she had to be 7. The mom poured on the sad eyes and they let her go with all 3 together.
