Hi! I recently returned from a 2 week vacation, 7 nights at Disney, 6 nights Key West, with myself and my 5 year old. We ended up scratching Legoland from the itinerary because we were both exhausted (and mostly bc of his mid day semi melt downs at the parks). Admittedly I made a few mistakes, we returned to the Poly daily to take a break from the parks. The original plan was for that to be nap/rest time, but my son was so in love with the Volcano slide that it became pool time instead- therefore long days and 0 rest. All that being said, we did have a fantastic time and he wants to do Disney again next year. I have decided that a Novemeber 7 night eastern Caribbean cruise will be a better option for us this time- plus I've read rave reviews on the Christmas themed cruise. Has another single parent done this? Did you find it more relaxing and a bit easier than the parks? I would love some input! Thanks!
