I asked this on the family page, but maybe there are some single parents who have insight! I'm a single parent considering dropping my DS at Neverland so I can go to Pleasure Island one night. But, I'm such a big chicken. I really want to go to these places, but afraid I'll stand out like a sore thumb being by myself. Has anybody does this and would I be scarred for life?

no you should be fine - just say No thanks to the guys who try to buy you a drink. Not a problems most of the time and if they get out of hand - hey it is Disney and that means security - so don't worry. Just don't get so loose that your lose control.

Adventures Club is worth the extra effort.

I go to PI by myself and really enjoy it. Sometimes it's just fun watching others... other times I participate and let people watch me. LOL

Have a glass of wine upon arrival and sit at the bar at the Adventurer's Club... Wave if you see me. LOL

PI is a great place for singles, you will not stand out like a sore thumb! I have gone to PI many times with others and also solo and have always had a wonderful time. I love the comedy club!

in August. Went with girlfriends in February. You can't help but have fun unless you are a shrinking violet ... then you could be a little intimidated.
