Any suggestions for a Single parent traveling with a young child...? How do I possibly keep him entertained while we are in line while waiting to board? I thought about his Gameboy... of course... any other thoughts? :wave2:

When we were there 4 years ago, we did not stand in line until just before the time they started boarding. While we were sitting in the check-in area, characters came out for photo ops. That might help pass the time. I also seem to remember TV's there too, but dont' remember what was playing.

My DD was 7 when she and I went. We were in line a good while. She was fine with her game boy and a couple of small toys. She made friends with other kids in line and they compared gameboy games. It went by quickly and we actually ended up eating luch at the same table as her new friends. :wave2:

There are several small TV's playing Disney cartoons off to one side of the terminal. there are soft seats to sit on there. Some younger kids do sit there and color or play with game boys. However if you do that, your notin line. The line really moves fast once it starts, so you may want to sit and watch cartoons until the lines starts moving and then join in the line. You could even sit there until the line gets very short. We have been at the back of the line, way across the terminal before, but only took 15 minutes to get on board, once it started to move. Good luck!
