For all you single moms or dads....is it feasible to take 2 small kids to the park alone? What do you do about the rides that only fit 2 people? We are planning on doing MK in the morning and then my husband to meet us at Epcot in the afternoon. My kids are 6 and 4. My 4 year old can ride everything but Space Mt., so I figure we will just miss that this round. But what about Splash Mt. and Thunder Mt.? Any help would be appreciated.

Of course you can!
If you need extra help, wait for your husband to come along. At that age, I'd just watch out for the characters walking around. Kids may follow them suddenly and may get lost.

You can sit in most rides for children in that age range by yourself and the two kids. I don't recall problems with any particular one.

I'm a single mom too. my kids are a bit older than yours. first time the 3 of us went to WDW alone was when the girls were 9 and 7.

in MK all the rides are geared so that the 3 of you will be able to ride together. the only problem you would have would be on the Indy cars, so skip them.

I agree! The first time I took my DD and DS they were 4 and 6 also. Traveling as a single Mom I was a little nervous but the trip was great. Most rides you can ride three to a car. Even Buzz, you can also have two people shoot and one control the car. Have a great trip!

My daughter is almost 6 but would never set foot on Splash Mt. or Thunder Mt., she is a little too scared of those. I don't know how daring your children are though. I will be traveling alone for the first time with my DD on Aug. 25 - Sept. 3, so I will see how it goes also. Even though you can probably fit 3 in most of the seats, sometimes it is a tight squeeze. Buzz is great though and you shouldn't have any problems fitting three in those seats. Dumbo on the other hand may be a tight squeeze (if your 6 yo is still interested in that, my DD decided she is too big for Dumbo now).
