I will be arriving in WDW several hours before the rest of my party. :woohoo: This will give me the opportunity to have one meal (lunch or dinner) all to myself and I'm having a hard time deciding. :upsidedow If you had this situation, where would you go?

Thanks for the help.

P.S. In a park, DTD, or in a resort...I'm open for anything.

for me, it would be Boma--my favorite place for the interesting tastes---but EVERYONE will have a favorite--and there are many great places. A number of places, esp nicer Disney hotels will also have a fancy Easter lunch--so it really depends on your mood and taste.

Good Point Ido and thanks. Actually, I don't really care if it's "Easter" dinner or not. Just a good meal is all I really want.

Boma is definately a great place. :thumbsup2

Any other opinions out there?

This is just a personal favorite, but when I am alone I love dining outside at the Brown Derby. I have a Cobb salad and a nice glass of wine and relax and people watch. It makes me happy :goodvibes

What resort are you staying at? It might be nice to eat at your resort & then settle in before for rest of the group arrives. Or you could pick a place that maybe the rest of the group would not chose.

I don't like to eat alone but would LOVE to tour some areas of the parks alone. I would eat at a great counter service location and spend my time shopping, touring, etc!!

So many good ideas...

Dznymom1: People watching is definately a great idea...and the Brown Derby, splendid! :thumbsup2
Kae: I'll be staying at the Poly. Resting would be nice, but I just know I'll be all revved up, so I'm leaning towards the things the others won't want...I'm so excited.
Engle: This is also something I have considered. I love to take pictures, but prefer not to ask the group to stop every time we turn a corner so I can "set up a shot".

Oooh dear...choices, choices, choices. (Isn't it wonderful to have these dilemmas to mull over...so much better than real life trials)

Thanks for all the imput.

I like Artist Point and I also like Spoodles. I always eat at Brown Derby and have never been disappointed.

I won't be alone cause it will be me, DH and DD, but I planned on making an ADR tomorrow for Coral Reef since we will be in Epcot on Easter Sunday. Good choice? Any other suggestions before I make my ADR?

I just thought of something else I did one day when I was on my own. I took the boat over to Fort Wilderness and picked up a sandwich and stuff at the Trading Post and sat down by the dock. I really enjoyed watching the boats and sitting by the water. After a while I got warm, so I went up and sat in a rocking chair on the porch for awhile. It was delightfully relaxing and another very enjoyable experience. I love to get away from the hustle and bustle when I am on my own.

Have fun deciding what to do!

Isn't Monday the day for 3/23 ADRs? I made one today for 3/20. Anyhow, I plan on making my Easter ADR for Yachtsman steakhouse, where we have never been before.

I would look at all the places we are eating as a group and then pick on that I like that is not on the list in my favorite park. When by myself Epcot is my favorite and my kids would not eat in France so I would eat some place there.
Or I would walk around WS and just grab a little from different CS in different countries. Now I am thinking I need a little alone time the next trip.
