I can't believe we are finally in the single digits!! We started planning this trip last August! There are 8 of us going (my cousin's family and us) the kids are 8,7,5,4 and have no idea what they are in for (my dh has never been either!). We are staying at the CBR for 10 days!:Pinkbounc

Does anyone else start to get freaked out at this point...will I forget to pack something, what if we miss our plane, what if our van driver isn't there, what if someone isn't feeling good, what if we over-sleep (we need to leave home at 4am for the airport), what if it rains the whole time, what if, what if, what if???!!!

Can someone pleaaassseee make me feel better! I'm so excited :bounce: and happy but stressed at the same time! Is this normal behavior???:earseek:

I just want to be there NOW!!!!::yes::

I'm right there with ya. We leave in less than 48 hours! Just make sure you check you flights, confirm your towncar (or whatever you're using), bring your driver's license, tickets and money and you should be fine. If you forget to pack something, you can probably get it down there (even though it will certainly cost more.) Have fun on your trip. You're going to Disney - it will be great!!!::yes:: :bounce: ::yes:: :bounce: :earsboy:

Completely NORMAL! Don't worry about it....if you forget something you can either buy it there or just go without! I always tend to VOERPACK and swear I will not but do anyway, I am mostly all packed and we are leaving the day before you! My only real panic right now is how I am going to fit 2 large suit cases, 3 med ones, several bags, ie laptop, camcorder, diaper bag, AND a stroller in the trunk of a full sized car!

Happy Single Digit Panic dancing!!!!!!

I don't relax until my butt hits the airplane seat. With all the planning I do, including having a Plan B and Plan C just in case, I don't worry about forgetting something or not being prepared for WDW, I'm just concerned with getting to the airport on time. Last month while gathering the tribe (8 adults, 1 toddler) at my house at 4:30 am for the trip to the airport, my mom hit the curb and blew out a tire. With no time to change it, 5 of us and all our luggage crammed into my Blazer and off we went. I remember thinking as we got to a certain portion of I-81, "Ok, we can walk from here if we have to!".

After all the hustle, the Delta connection filght was 1 hour late getting off the ground, so we would have had a cushion of time. You never know. My vacation begins when we clear security. Enjoy!

I go into panic at 30 days out...I just noticed we're at 25 days til we leave...and I'm worried. I'm still working on the back up schedule in case the EMH test gets extended. Right now we arrive the last announced day for it.

Just relax...you're going to have a great time. And don't worry if you don't get everything you want done at home before you get back. It'll still be there :)

I'm right there with ya! We're leaving early Friday morning and with only four more nights left to get the house ready, our luggage ready, and my lists read, I'm freaking out a little! We're not going to spend a lot of time in WDW (splitting it up with WDW, Universal, and visiting f.i.l.) but I am soooooo excited! :Pinkbounc

Yep I'm panicked alright. Between work and packing and my addition to this board, I feel like it won't all get done and the DH is a procrastinator of the worst kind.

It will all work out..it will all work out..it will.

I'm doing the worry/panic thing too. Today dh calls me and tells me his neck is hurting (he probably slept on it wrong) and immediately I ask him if he has a fever, if his head hurts, etc. Of course I'd ask that anyway... I can be a bit of a worrywart. :p

We all just need to take deep breaths and relax... then doublecheck our lists and carry on! ;)

Thanks everyone...I'm so glad I'm not alone!;)

Now if I could just sneak in one or two nights of sound sleep without any travel nightmares I'll be in good shape!!

Disney here we come!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

My problem is that I feel the need to keep planning even though that's all I've done for 2 months. I'm less tahn 4 days away and I really don't have anything left to do except throw in a few last minute items, and I'm inventing things to do to keep me occupied for the last few days! I was like this for my wedding and my baby's birth as well (the wedding went exactly as planned BTW, Annika's birth was NOTHING like I had planned.) So here I am killing time 'til my trip by reading zillions of trip reports. Am I a total geek or what?!

Im cool as a cucumber.....

Yup, we leave next Wednesday and we have some plans this weekend, and I have a job interview tomorrow and ya know what? Im not stressed.

Okay, I wish I was going to be a little thinner by the time we leave, but as far as packing everything and getting there Im fine. I cant wait, I love the anticipation time before something exciting happens, its like the 12 days before Christmas are the best....

I was worrying earlier, dont get me wrong, but Im okay today.

See you all there!!!
