Are both your flights on the same airline?2morrow said:There is one thing I'm concerned about: We leave from Indy to Atlanta and we only have a 1/2 hour lay over in Atlanta before our connecting flight, I have flown many times and I know what happens when your first flight takes off late the connecting flight does not wait for you ( this airline states that if you are not there 10 min. before departure then they assume you won't be coming and give your seats away) MAW did give us instructions in case you miss a flight and such, but I don't want to have to go thru all of that! I just want to get there. I'm trying not to think about it, we will get there one way or another!I'm looking forward to meeting you and your family, I'll be looking for you about everyday!
See you soon

Usually the computer won't let you make a reservation for a connecting flight that is too close to connect. So, even though it is close, you should make it.
If they are on the same airline, the gate agents on your connecting flight usually know who is coming from other flights. So, they should be expecting you and not give your seats away if your first flight is late.
