Yep! One week from today we're going to surprise DS for his birthday! I can hardly wait for the surprise part!! It's killin' me 'cuz I've been afraid of blowing it by saying something stoopid in front of him. I'm starting to watch the long range weather forecasts so I can start packing! I've got my "disney box" packed to ship on Monday for our new Owners Locker, I got our AP vouchers, customized park maps, ordered a cake, made dinner ressies...seems like I've been doing a little something every day and now it's finally almost here!

I've read your posts for several weeks now and you seem like a lot of fun!

But let me help with your long range weather forecast----Mon--Hot, Tues--Hot/Humid, Wed--Humid/Hot.....This season since so many of you up north had bad/cold weather we had one of our best seasons ever. Wonderful weather from the beginning of October till the 1st week of May, and then it all came to a screetching halt! It's hot and I'm afraid it will be hot till next October. If you have ponchos, you may want to bring them! Thank goodness the mornings and evening are still tolerable but that won't last too much longer.

Have a great time and I'll be interested to hear how your OL issues turned out!

Yes we leave on thursday! We are out of points, and since this is a surprise trip we got a great AP rate for POFQ. I am very excited! We have not stayed at POFQ since our very first trip together and our kids have never been there - should be fun!

... My tickers off: we rescheduled due to school days & ds won't let me reset my countdown ticker (he 'designed' it) as he doesn't want it to go back to the start LOL.

I just heard on the news last night that because of the H1N1 virus, New York had closed 3 schools down for a week, boy that may screw up some people vacations. What a bummer!

You need to understand that I am cold at anything below 82 so I CAN'T WAIT for FL!!!!!! PERFECT temp. for me is 85ish!! I don't really mind upper 80's either too much. The 90's feel hot & icky. I am actually mostly concerned about the evenings cooling off & wondering if I should pack some longer sleeves / pants. The long range is saying 69-72 at night depending on if I look at weather.com or accuweather.com... I could be cold in shorts & tanks at that temp. if there's no humidity. Since we've BARELY had any daytime temps to hit that so far this spring it's not so fresh in my mind what that actually feels like. Guess it really depends on the humidity...right now, here, it is 75, no breeze and humid (it's going to rain later) so I'm OK in shorts for the moment. But so I have to pack a little variety! But whatever I bring has to fit in those crazy packing cube thingys I bought!!
