Single credits in a group?

My son wants to get only appetizers at 2 of the table service meals we are going to. Will we be able to pay out of pocket for his meal and then be able to use his credits for a sit down luch later in our trip for him only?

You will have to do separate checks, tell the CM 2 of you are on the DDP and your son is OOP. We go with our IL's all the time we are on the DDP they are not. We have to get separate checks, one for me and DW on the DDP and they get their own check they are OOP. Seem like this is similar and we have never had a problem.
