I know there are some who feel left out when they are all alone at WDW. I know the feeling when you are walking through the parks seeing all those happy families laughing and running along, trying to see everything. Being single isn't that horrible. From my experience, I found it easy to ride Maelstrom in the Norwegian WS pavilion. They put me right up front in the middle even though I was at the end of the line! (one warning, you will get wet up front!) On Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, they made me get on first and then, filled the other cars in. I have NEVER seen them do that before. At the Haunted Mansion, for some reason, it's scarier when you're in the car all by yourself. I saw some obviously married couples split up for that very reason. Also, at Test Track, if it isn't too busy, they even have a singles line and it USUALLY runs faster than even the FastPass line! The only thing that made me mad was a family cheated the line by having one kid stand in line and hold a spot for the other three. I was glad that they didn't get to sit together even though the father looked a bit peeved (hey, you were asking to get caught so wipe that grumpy frown off your face fool!
)
For those who feel claustrophobic, going alone can help. The Grand Prix cars feel much larger when someone isn't riding with you. The seats on Big Thunder Mountain RR also feel so spacious that you feel the urge to stretch your arms out. And of course, squeezing through very tight crowds is TONS easier. You might be surprised. Does anyone else have any stories about visiting the parks alone? Did you enjoy it or not? Why?

I loved it! I never felt lonely and I did what I wanted, when I wanted. I'm taking another solo trip by myself next month - this time the solo part is intentional.
